We are an authentic Cajun food restaurant. The owner is a Baton Rouge native with roots in New Orleans and White Castle Louisiana. Most people believe Cajun food is hot and spicy when in actuality Cajun food is all about the flavor. You will find that Fla
It is surprising to find a great Cajun restaurant in Arizona. Everything we have tried is excellent. During lunch it is counter order, but at night they have servers, but not enough of them. Service is rather slow and getting seated will take time even with empty tables especially on weekends, but it is still worth it for the food.

Great peel and eat shrimp and my husband liked the fried Alaska cod. However, by the time my beer arrived I was done eating. Obviously, the wait staff and bartender were not on top of their game and I heard negative remarks when I asked a second time for my beer. I ended up sending it back since I was done eating

Two of us enjoyed a really great meal. Bisquits were piping hot and delicious. Partner ordered the sweet crab, served steaming hot with lots of butter. I had the mussels. All garlicky and flavorful. So much crab, we brought enough home for another meal! Will be back. Join the club to earn appetizers!

Mandy's has been serving quality fish and chips in Phoenix for several years. Am so glad they have opened a place in Avondale. It is in a former Church's Chicken just south of the bowling lanes on Central Ave., so there is not much seating available; however, you will not be disappointed in the quality of their food. Spouse had cod and I had catfish. They also offer tilapia and whiting. You can choose an English style flour batter (wonderful on the cod!) or corn meal, which is what I had for the catfish. While fried, the fish is not greasy, and cooked to perfection. Fries were good and excellent hush puppies with a little kick. The place was packed on a Friday evening & several people ordered to go. Prices are reasonable for the quality and the clientele is super-friendly. I almost hate to post this because it will just mean more crowds to deal with, but great quality food is difficult to keep quiet about!!
Lots of breading, but great taste and a great red sauce. I personally prefer the fish & chips, but my wife loves the shrimp and onion rings. Not fancy and the place tends to be warm in warmer months due to the swamp coolers.
