We were able to walk to this place from where we were staying. Convenient! The food and service were outstanding. I had the asparagus salad and my husband had the house salad. Both were huge. We then shared a flatbread and topped it all off with a great cup of coffee as we watched the sunset. Our server, Elizabeth, was one of the best we've ever had anywhere. Attentive but not overly so. There is a pasta on the menu that I'd like to try but our time here is ending.

Built like an alpine chateau, with two graduated levels to offer an unimpeded view for every patron, the restaurant's tables look directly out across the lake, with the unparalleled view framed by sweeping wooden archways and vaulted ceilings. When seated
The service and views are amazing. The food, while innovative, was good, with a few misses. Our waiter, Todd, was an absolute delight. I had the chicken breast with mushroom ravioli. The ravioli was really good as were the side veggies. The chicken breast was a bit dry, however, and could have used a bit of sauce.Thank you for taking the time write this review and share your recent dining experience at Edgewood Restaurant. We are so happy to hear that you enjoyed the stunning Lake Tahoe views and exceptional service. We appreciate the great feedback and have shared your concerns about the chicken breast dish with our culinary management. We hope you will be our guest again the next time you are in the area for a more enjoyable meal overall. - Edgewood Team

Hostess was great, but pan roasts were bland and rice was dry. Margarita was very weak and people next to us said they couldn't taste any alcohol in their mixed drinks. Stick with the oysters and beer or go somewhere else.

Unexpectedly wonderful restaurant. Service was great, atmosphere was excellent, and the food was subllime. I had Chilean Sea Bass which was truly delicious and melt-in-your mouth. We shared the Heavenly Salas, which was really heavenly. My husband had the mixed seafood grill, which was also very delicious and well-prepared.

We chanced upon this restaurant while walking on the main street of South Lake Tahoe. It is a bit beyond the village shopping area with lots of restaurants and therefore you may need to look for it. The waitress recommended a couple of sushi platters for us and they were both outstanding. Prices were also quite reasonable - highly recommended

Friday night as the sun was setting on Lake Tahoe it looked beautiful from Fridays Station. I ordered 18 year old scotch that I have been wanting to taste for a while. We started with Shrimp and Crab cakes, a very good selection. For the main course, my wife ordered Sword Fish. It was perfectly prepared. Hot, fresh and flavorful. I enjoyed the Filet Mignon & Scampi. The filet was flavorful, hot and tender. The Scampi was good. The server was attentive and polite.Due to my wives cancer, she needs assistance to the restroom. When we came back to the dining room, a couple was being seated at our table. It had been cleaned off, including my scotch. I asked, " what's going on?" A voice behind me stated "we thought you skipped out!" And all eyes went to us. I've never been so embarrassed. My wife cried later in our Harrahs Hotel room. To avoid causing a scene, we decided to just leave. Staff apologized, offered us another table including some scotch. But everyone was still watching. Mistakes happen, but that hurt both of us.

We were given a recommendation to try this restaurant and weâre very happy we went. The filet and scallops with shrimp were excellent dinner selections. The coconut shrimp appetizer was one of the best weâve ever had. We had a drink at the bar before dinner and the bar area is very beautiful. The restaurant was very busy that night, but we were treated to a beautiful table with a view of the area, and our server took great care to make sure we were happy with our meal. The manager stopped by each table to also ask if anyone needed more attention. We each had wine with dinner and the total cost was no more than we pay in our home town. We enjoyed our affordable and wonderful evening.
