Beautiful Italian restaurant, with a quiet garden at 10 meters from the lake: a wide choice of fish plates but you can order the meat as well.The fisrt time choose "Menu Degustazione" and you'll be able to have a complete choice of what Italian cuisine can offer with fish, especially lake fish.Also the price is very honest!

Thanks to Trip Advisor we elected to try this restaurant. As others have said, it's clearly popular with the locals, which is a good sign. We visited one rainy Monday evening without a reservation, which wasn't a problem. It isn't huge though so if you are travelling perhaps best to book. The reason it's not so well known about seems to be it's very slightly off beat location and I imagine lack of tourist footfall, as it's off the main track into the centre of Gargnano, but still really close to the centre of the village, just up a side street.The staff were lovely, we enjoyed wine in carafes, the house white was very pleasant. The prawn cocktail was delicious as was the delicate octopus to start. My husband's rib-eye steak was superb but I'm afraid the lasagne was a disappointment, barely any meat in it and too creamy, no parmesan offered either. The restaurant does have a lovely relaxed setting and it's very tastefully decorated. We had a relaxing couple of hours over our meal and were in no ways rushed. The staff also speak English and German with ease. Definitely worth a visit.

We were staying at a hotel nearby and decided to try the restaurant at Lefay. It is in a large room (too large) and feels a bit convention like, despite a lot of effort to make it look cozy. Our meal was very good, but also extraordinarily expensive.We had a nice evening but I wouldn't return.

We were staying nearby and came across the restaurant while buying our afternoon gelato by the Lake in Gargnano. As we don't eat meat we noted some options we could choose from, so returned for the evening. There were a couple of veggie options as well as fish. We shared a starter of puff pastry with carrot mousse which was unusual. My husband had the pesto lasagne which was very tasty. I had the sea bass, presented in a tied sellophane parcel that kept it very moist and flavoursome along with a glass of prosecco and a great view of Lake Garda. A very enjoyable evening

We only ate here once but we enjoyed it.It was very quiet the evening we visited, just us and one other table of three people. Has a nice atmosphere, quite a rustic feel. Food was good, very reasonably priced, and the staff/owners were nice and friendly.

Our b&b owner recommended this beautiful little restaurant in Gargnano. We arrived quite early and were greeted with a warm welcome from the owner/chef. Every single aspect of the service was flawless. We were very much looked after. The food was beautifully cooked, we enjoyed it so much we came back the day after. I would recommend this place 100%, it's quite difficult to find but worth it when you do. Don't miss out!

We had a dinner in this Michelin 1 star restaurant, the entree and main course were heavenly. We had their lamb dish which was that tastefull that I would go back for it if it was not that far away from our home (1000 km).

Iâm disappointed that we only found this gem late in our stay in Gargnano. Known universally as The Three Geese, it is a delight. Excellent food (try the Risotto with prawns and lemon), friendly service, great decor, attention to detail, wonderful pacing of courses. A total pleasure.

This fine restaurant is situated away from lake Garda, therefor a bit less crowded. We were with four friends and tried to figure out the menu when this waitress came to our table and started talking Dutch. She speaks four or more languages so this was very helpful. We had a wonderful and good meal, with drinks and desert for less than â¬25,- each. We even got a discount mentioning the hotel we stayed. Do not hesitate to go there, you won't be disappointed.Grazie mille...Dank je wel Hopelijk tot een volgende keer!!
