This is a very typical, regular Japanese Set Menu Restaurant where you can taste what Japanese people eat. Reasonable pricing, fair content. If you have time to get to Enoshima Island, there are better diversity.

We passed by here after a long day visiting Mount Fuji, and hakone area.We had to wait for awhile as it was a weekend and also close to dinner time. We tried the boiled lobster and also local snow crabs. Also tried some of the appetizers. The food were delicious and service was fast. Even if you don't speak Japanese, you can point out from menu, what you want to order. There are a few red lobster chains I japan, worth checking out.Thank you for your high rating and kind comment. We will be very much looking forward to your next visit.
Speaking of oyster huts is still grilled oysters! By baking oysters are prickled and you can eat a lot. I also have raw oysters all the time. Please check the recommendation of today because the contents vary slightly depending on arrival, such as 10 oaks

Enoshimatei is situated on the west side of the enoshima island. From above the Sea Candle tower, the restaurant is clearly visible. 5 minutes' walk from the tower. Take a bite of enoshima's fresh seafood. I would recommend two dishes. The first is shirasu fish, a kind of very small fish. It can be eaten raw, cooked or fried. The second is Enoshimadon, a local specialty, rice with egg and chopped conch meat.As the restaurant is built on the cliff, choose a window seat to enjoy the sea view.If you plan to have supper here, remember to come early! They close one hour after sunset, and may close even earlier in winter.

Had great expectations looking at the premises and the atmosphere... but wasn't really so great. Pizza was not up to the mark, crust was rubbery pepper sauce saved the lunch infact. It could be considered as an option when you are in Enoshima but definitely not a must visit.

I had the Shirasudon (Shirasu Donburi) which I observed, is one the restaurant's signature dished. Shirasu is the general term for young, white fish that measure only about a centimeter. They are caught in large numbers in Sagami Bay around Enoshima and enjoyed at local restaurants, where they are most popularly served raw or cooked over white rice as donburi. The servings here are large but I had no problems finishing it as it was really good. The queue is long during the lunch period so patience required. Price is reasonable for the quality and portion.

Varieties of seafood bowls. You can enjoy unique rice bowls here. Also impressed by the guest queue management system.A kiosk is in front of the restaurant for you to get a token. You should put how many of you are here and how many kids. Then, you are told when to come back here. So, you don't have to wait here. For me on Saturday, I should wait for an hour, but I enjoyed the island without being frustrated. The price is a bit high, I'm afraid.Thank you for coming to our store.Thank you for explaining the entry system in English.I will be waiting for you again.

One of my favourite places to visit during the summer. Especially if you're seeking respite from the noise and dust of the city. It's about an hour and a half from Tokyo city by Express Train (red) on the Odakyu Line. Less if you take the Rapid Express (orange). The layout of the area is not complicated and you can easily Google for maps showcasing the handful of highlights - the shrine, aquarium, spa. What you really need to do however is to just walk around - slowly - and soak in the atmosphere. During the summer, the black sand beaches are packed with groups and families all laid out on mats and deck chairs, beer and snacks all around. The quintessential summer activity.Personally, I'd head towards the shrine up the hill, past the rows of shops selling local specialties like しらすor baby sardines, rice crackers, Japanese sweets and kitschy souvenir t-shirts. At the top of the steps, turn right and follow the path up the hill and keep walking. Past the second shrine, the traditional Japanese wagashi (sweet) shop, past all the restaurants till you get to the other side of the cliffs. And be surprised. :) On the way back, stop by the second restaurant after the flight of steps back up. The restaurants there all sell pretty much the same thing but this one had the best view and location in my opinion. All the times I've been there, I've been lucky enough to get a seat outside overlooking the cliffs. A perfect, perfect way to top a summer excursion to Enoshima. Literally. :)))

If you are into Shirasu and seafood, this is THE place to go. Really loved it, especially atmosphere and service. Should go there when in Kamakura!
