I stayed in the OC hotel next door so came here twice. The waiter spoke perfect English and remembered me when I came back two days later. First night I had a bottle of wine which was FANTASTIC but did get me rather drunk. The food menu is mainly pizza but had a lot of fish and chicken dishes, but no Pasta dishes, and more importantly for me - NO SPAGHETTI BOLOGNESE!. Still I had pizza on both visits and both were amazing. The food comes quickly the service is good, they had English menu, at the end you pay at the counter (not by asking for the bill)The price was really good - that first night I had a bottle of wine and a pizza for â¬22.50. Second night I had half a bottle wine and a pizza for â¬13.00. I will definitely come back here again (and will stay in OC hotel it is amazing)

Avevamo assaggiato una particolare e favolosa pizza, esclusiva di questa pizzeria, in un banchetto. Ci siamo fatti indicare dove veniva fatta e alla prima occasione siamo andati nella pizzeria "da Gabry", chiamarla pizzeria è molto riduttivo il locale ha un ottimo aspetto, semplice ma elegante, tipico dei locali di un certo livello. Servizio premuroso, gentile, familiare, trattamento ottimo..... anche se si consuma una pizza! Il menu comprende piatti di terra e di mare con una scelta notevole. Consigliamo comunque di assaggiare la favolosa pizza " Aurora", se dimenticate il nome chiedete quella con sopra le fettine di limone. Rapporto prezzo qualità e quantità decisamente favorevole. Esperienza positiva da ripetere.

E' rimasto tutto fermo agli anni 90, non tornavo da anni e purtroppo il risultato non è stato esaltante. Malgrado il locale semivuoto, servizio lento, birra non pervenuta e sapori un po' così...la pizza però è buona, peccato per il resto...

Pagato 200 euro in 8 piu 2 bimbi..ottimo cibo e vario anche i fuori menu..prezzo qualita giusto..consiglio la prenotazione di domenica ma l unica pecca è il pane 50 centesimi..pagando il coperto dovrebbe essere incluso..ma ottimo

I just can't say enough how much this place was earthy, organic, farm to table experience, fresh food, deliciousness in every bite and such a humble owner. I'll go back in a heartbeat and won't even look for other dining options.

I found it out when it still belonged and was run by Osvaldo (the restaurant full name actually is "La Tana degli Amici - da Osvaldo"), who was a great Napolitan chef de cousine, and cooked delicious dishes. When Osvaldo decided to retire, two very young guys (two friends from Hotelling School!!!) "jumped into the business, refreshed the place, and started... coking!!! Fantastic! I know Monterotondo is not exactly a touristy place, but if you are staying in Rome, have a car, want to tour the surroundings of Rome, heading North towards Rieti, Monterotondo is just 20 Km off Rome, on the VIA SALARIA. And once you are there... can't miss out on the two friends (they are sooooooooooooooo young!!!) restaurant.Do you know that they get up at 4 every morning and personally go to the Fish Market to choose fresh fish themselves???Food quality is excellent, the variety of the menu and the wine selection are great! Please keep in mind, though, that the last time I went there, they did not yet accept payment by credit/debit card... However, you will not need much cash, if you go there... it's a real bargain!!!You won't regret the trip to Monterotondo, in Sabina.

Friendly staff, a lively atmosphere and great food. The prices are very reasonable. We had the local fizzy white wine which was very palatable at 5 euros. We ate twice here in a week as both times were very satisfying.

Recommended by a family member, we went to the Scorfano allegro with a family group and it was a great success!The fish menu is very good and unique. I was with my girlfriend and we really appreciated that we took an "Yes" for every ask. Carbonara wasn't in menu, but they did it for us and didn't put a high price. Also, the wine, like the food, was very tasty. We really enjoyed it!
