My husband and I ate here for the first time today. The setting is lovely! We were seated near a gas fireplace, which was relaxing and cozy. Our friendly server told us about all the specials, but we decided to order from the menu. We were pleased that all the bread is baked in-house and many foods are locally sourced. My husband's hamburger was just the way he likes it. I had the Thanksgiving sandwich, which was very creative. The desserts sounded amazing, but we were full after lunch. We live in the area, so I'm sure we will be back.So glad you enjoyed your visit and we look forward to having you again. Maybe you can have dessert next time.

I love restaurants like this one. The person running the register owns the place; that says something.Hush puppies are legit! Really crispy and a tad sweet.I had the sirloin and shrimp special which was to my surprise excellent. Sirloin was perfectly seasoned and Medium rare. Shrimp were firm, large and perfectly seasoned. All of the rest of our food was perfectly prepared as well. Ambiance is not amazing, more of a throwback in time. Service is pleasant, helpful and very accommodating.

Absolutely a Must if you are up in Ashe County! We had the Lobster Rolls yesterday the best weâve ever had in our life! Amazing!!!! Picked up fresh stuffed crab mushrooms and two type of seafood dip! So fresh and creative! This is not just your typical fish market it is family owned and we love supporting local markets. Tim really knows his fish and loves what he brings to our community. A must if you love seafood!!!PS Just picked up the freshest Salmon today all perfect thick Center cuts!!! Wow amazing Jumbo fresh Shrimp and stuff crab mushrooms so Love this family so dedicated to quality and service!!!!Daniel
