We went to the sardine museum - so interesting that we felt the need to eat sardines afterwards.. We asked the guy on the desk who recommended a little restaurant further up the road called Restaurante Ziza. Great family restaurant who went out of their way to serve us food. Amazing value and very very tasty. Thanks for an amazing lunch.

Great local establishment, the friendly owner and most of the staff seem to have been around forever. It looks like just another run-of-the-mill restaurant up restaurant hill, but the food and service are great. Food always seems to arrive quickly, yet we never feel rushed, and there is always the offer of a drink on the house. Recommended from me.

The prawns were not deveined which was quite off-putting. It would have been nice if they took the extra care to remove them.Overall, the service and ambience was good, I just wouldnât recommend the prawns

We went to this restaurant on the recommendation of a friend who lives in the building above the restaurant. It was lovely, fresh fish that was done perfectly, lovely wines and ports and the service was so friendly and excellent. The couple who run it are wonderful hosts. I would really recommend a stop here if you are in the area.

After O,Casario couldnât be bothered to serve us we had to find another restaurant,fortunately we found this place just around the corner.We were a little concerned as it was now getting close to 10pm that they may be closing.We were greeted with open arms and went on to be served nice food by friendly and helpful staff at a inexpensive price.

Weâve come to the restaurant to have a dinner with my wife and son - both like octopus. Ordered the one which was positioned as âspecial dish of the restaurantâ. However this âspecial dishâ was completely overcooked (see picture). It was impossible to eat and we returned the dish.When we said about that we expected the restaurant to replace the dish however they didnât.Then we expected them not including this into the bill - it was charged in full(.This case and disloyalty to customers spoiled all positive impression about this restaurant.To be completely fair, I should say the meat & chicken salad which we also ordered -they were good.

Beautiful setting, perfect service and fabulous fish.The turbot was superb and the tuna sublime.The only disappointment was that they were not open on Sunday for us to have a second visit.
