We stopped here on our drive between Erice and arriving in Trapani. It is well-located along the beach, but it wasn't our best food experience. We sat inside for the air conditioning, but the sun coming through the windows made the room stifling (outside was unshaded and no dining tables). The swordfish was pretty tasteless. Unfortunately they made the pasta dishes with spaghetti because they hadn't gotten their delivery of the traditional pasta--and the dishes suffered.

Waiter didn't know what was on the menu. They were "out" of pasta with seafood, but a group coming later got just that. Cheese and "salad" for second dish. Salad turned out to be boiled potatoes (ok, with parsley, maybe that was the salad). Waiter was rude to us. It was tasty but the overall experience was just disappointing.

We ate here our first night in Erice at the advice of our host. The local dishes we had were outstanding great pasta and cous cous. Good hearty comfort food on a cold rainy night!

The food was very good and there was a nice atmosphere as we seemed to be surrounded by Italian speakers. Service was good and they tried to be more upmarket by serving at the table onto your plate.

They have lots of customer on the go, where people take a quick stop for a glass of chilled wine with oysters. Most of the people eat oysters and leave within 30 min.I choose to have dinner at this place, 2 nights in a row. They have a very small terrace with a couple of tables, and if you come early enough you are likely to find some seats, awesomely romantic spot!Their menu is kept simple. I had a "pepata di cozze" (mussels XXL, so goood!) and a "Spaghetti al Chiosco" (with clams and mussels). Extremely tasteful and good!I will be back!

We had a very nice lunch (recommended by our guide) after wandering around Erice. Other than a busload of Spanish tourists who were eating in the back and constantly queuing for the bathroom, the atmosphere was pleasant and the service was professional. The food was very good. Excellent seafood pasta. Also red prawns. Generous portions.

Honestly we were advised to go for dinner to this place, by a local (probably a friend of the owner) and this is the only reason that kept us in despite the awful lighting and atmosphere on the restaurant. The owner is great sales man and will engage you with its âtouchable passionâ. The food was ok but the bill far too expensive for such a poor experience. My advice for you Mauro.. keep it simple!

We and our friends had dinner at this lovely, out-of-the-way little restaurant two nights in a row while staying nearby in Dattilo (not too far from Trapani and Eric). The food was delicious, inventive, and beautifully presented, the ambiance was lovely and calm, and the service was gracious. Our waitress was sweet, helpful (including good wine recommendations), and spoke excellent English. The second night we arrived just as they were about to close the place due to lack of business (we didn't call ahead), but they kept the restaurant open just for the four of us and welcomed us almost as old friends. The prices for both food and wine were very reasonable given the quality of and overall experience.

Simplicity is the most important ingredient of our cousin. Typical Trapanese cousine with traditional dishes and fresh fish cooked in an excellent way.
this was recommended by our B&B owner. I am assuming it one of the better restaurants in Trapani. Very modern cuisine, and the waitresses were less than welcoming, abrupt as we didn't understand the concept of their menu, and very offhand during the evening which kind of puts you off. The food was good, very different but still Italian. would not go back there a) because of the attitude of the waitresses, and b) they say they take Amex, and then there was a flat refusal to take it.... If you don't care how the staff are towards you then fine, otherwise would not recommend.

Located just steps from the historic center of Trapani, the new La Perla pizza restaurant will manage to enchant with delicacy and exclusivity of its flavors inspired by the millenarian Sicilian culinary tradition with particular regard to Trapani cuisine
Friendly staff. Good location with parking outside (remember to bring change for machine). Good pizza.
