I visited the restaurant today, like I do on every trip to Denia. As soon as I sat down, I was asked to move from my table because I was just ordering drinks (it was 5:30pm and the restaurant was almost completely empty at the time). The new staff seem completely disinterested and have a lack of understanding about customer service. The drinks were average and I found my son playing with the cigarette butts littering the floor. Wonât be coming back! Excellent quality seafood! We had the (huge) platter of different shellfish ("degustación de mariscos"), which included lobster, mussels, crab, gambas, scallops - and all were delicious. The service was also very good and attentive.The only slightly confusing thing is the name of the restaurant - it's now branded as "Mediterranean Fish" but here on TripAdvisor it can be found as "Pekado Mortal".

Having heard great reviews of El Chiringuito, we booked a table for 5 on easter Sunday. What a treat. The service from the fantastic owner was extremely attentive, the food was exceptional and relaxed atmosphere made for a terrific lunch. Certainly amongst the very best restaurants in the area. We will be back again and again.

We have visited El Tresmall many times but on our most recent visit on a Friday lunchtime to start we had the locally caught tiny tellinas clams, which were beautifully sweet and the octopus a la gallega which was very tender. This was followed by a perfectly cooked paella valenciana. We reserved a table on the terrace next to the beach to enjoy the view and the breeze on a very warm day. The seafood is wonderfully fresh from the local market and there is a wide choice. The house wine was good quality and excellent value. Service at this family-run restaurant, which was busy despite seeming relatively undiscovered by non-locals, is friendly and you feel welcome to linger as long as you like.

The difficulty is what fish dish to have for starters and then for the main course. Everything is delicious. In particular, try their "Llandeta", a fish stew - it's just delicious. You'll also have the bonus of beautiful sunsets so it's best to make a reservation for evening meals and check sunset times.

This is our second visit and it was as good as the first - which was fantastic. The waiting staff are exceptional and the food first class. Be sure to book a table and your choise of paella.Thank you very much for this excellent review and for repeating in our restaurant, we hope there will be a third time soon.
