Situated on the main road this is a handy stop off for a quick lunch. I had the grilled cuttlefish served with salad and potatoes and my husband had a large, tasty entrecote steak with the same accompaniments. The food was perfectly adequate (though a little on the chewy side), service was good and the meal, along with two beers, 3 sauces and bread came to only 26 euros, so very good value.

This little family-run restaurant was a joyful discovery after mediocre to terrible food experiences we had in Tenerife. 1. The view from the terrace is wonderful and the restaurant interior is charming. 2. The owner is a lovely likeable lady. We enjoyed chatting to her. 3. Food is great â grilled fish filet and grilled cuttle fish were perfect in both taste and presentation. Wine was delicious. This was our best meal of the week.Thank you for your time and for so nice opinion, It´s good for us to know that your experience with us has been so succesful. We hope see you soon. Thanks a lot.

Rustic, authentic Canarian restaurant overlooking the harbour.Inside and outside seating. Very friendly and engaging staff. Fantastic value set lunch will never gain a Michelin Star but will leave you feeling satisfied. Get there early to avoid disappointment.

Our first trip to Tenerife saw us take in the usual coach tours around the southern part of the island. Stupidly, I hadn't considered the "vertigo aspect" and found myself slightly shaking as lunch approached at Garachico. Our Italian lady guide strongly recommended a restaurant near to the coach's stop but, thankfully, the queue was too big to get in there and we went "next door" to the Miramar. Upstairs and very few covers (perhaps 20)Almost 2 hours later and after a superb paella for 2 and a bottle of Albariño, I was prepared for my next "homeward vertigo descent'If you have the chance, do try this restaurant ..........very local and very good. Quite a surprise really. It will easily get full though

Although along a main road for about 30 minutes, the walk from Garachico to El Mundial 82 in the charming village of La Galeta is a pleasant enough one as it tracks the coast and once you are there, you will be in need of a good lunch before you go and sit in the sun. El Mundial 82 is where the locals along this stretch of the coast go to eat for a family meal out, but youâre made to feel very welcome as a tourist too. The service is fast, professional and warm. The food really is something else - fish so fresh a good vet could get it back on its fins again and gorgeous starters. In particular, I recommend the garlic prawns, which come sizzling. Iâve never had a better version of this dish anywhere in the world, and thatâs coming from me, whose friends call me Garlic Prawn McPrawn Face.

There is a terrace at the sea front where you can enjoy a varied menu with a specialty in fresh fish and paella you can also enjoy a good coffee watching the ocean
Located on the rocky shore near the tide pools in Garachico, this outdoor restaurant is an excellent choice for lunch. Service is polite, friendly and prompt, even though the three waiters were hustling and visibly perspiring. Good English speakers. The drinks are not expensive and well made. The food is delicious. We had the prawns and calamari, both of which were excellent.Prices are reasonable.Come for the view and atmosphere - enjoy the drinks and food.

Tried most of the restaurants in Garachico and this is our favourite by a mile. It is a little off the beaten track and a local restaurant serving typical Canarian food. It is family run and has a really friendly atmosphere. The food is all fresh and beautifully cooked. If you want to get away from the more touristy places along the seafront then try this place. Nos encantó, lo disfrutamos mucho, especialmente los caramelos que nos trajeron las nietas del dueño, un abrazo .

Just meandering about the streets when we came across this restaurant at lunchtime. Welcoming staff. Pleasant atmosphere (apart from nearby smoker!)My wife had squid and I had the octopus cooked in the Canarian way. Both were very good. âJust the ticketâ for a light lunch. Recommended.

Numerous visits have not changed my opinion of the friendly Spanish Tapers Bar once you make an effort to learn food names in Spanish. Great atmosphere on Spanish football evenings.Cheap and cheerful and clean. What more do you need.
