Sitio de "los de antes", clasico y con clientela fiel, dedicado al pescado y mariscos pricipalmente. Las gambas y langostinos muy buenos en cambio el pescado, rodaballo y rape, podian estar mejor.

Mediterranean cuisine with fantastic views to the sea. Children-friendly bar-restaurant that is open for everyone.
There are many choices for restaurants in the area of the port. We made the mistake of picking this one. Normally I strive to find good things to say about a restaurant. This one had poor indifferent service, overpriced poorly prepared food, nothing special about decor although we did eat outside and the there was a good Kayak game of ball going on nearby.Over priced and over hypted.no entendemos su queja cuando tiene a la vista la carta con informacion de precios y fotografia del producto elegido, es obvio que su queja es absurda, sobran sus comentariosdediquese al deporte.

Having had fish for our last few meals, I really felt like having a steak. What was delivered exceeded my expectations, it was big, juicy and delicious. The service was impeccable and the glasses of wine generous. There is an extensive dessert menu however note that these are frozen desserts - I ordered a Creme Catalan however it was an ice-cream style dish, nice but not what I was expecting. Highly recommend this restaurant when in Castello de la Plana.

As you enter the bar - restaurant it looks very small. Hah, wait until you go to the back! This is a super deluxe fish and shell fish restaurant. It is the best shell fish restaurant I have eaten at period! Superb service, cold beer, good wine, reasonable prices (versus Barcelona). You could have had a regular fish but we had guests from Asia who really wanted to try a few things but not eat too much. We had the mandatory jarmon (ham) to eat with the beer - top quality, then squid, octopus, shrimps, muscles, Tellinas and a few more items. Deserves a Michelin Star or two!The customers are all locals so they tend to open a little later.

Restaurant in functioning for 15 years, with management and familiar personnel, placed in Castellon's Port, opposite the Hotel Turcosa and that consists of a dining room closed with air conditioning and heating for 90 persons and besides a terrace equippe
We enjoyed a delicious dinner here in mid October. We arrived soon after the restaurant opened for the evening and had our choice of seating in the outdoor covered terrace (it was nearly full within 15 minutes). Service was attentive and the servers helpful when we were making our selections. We shared a large salad to start, and then had the tuna tataki and roasted turbot. Simple and delicious. The portions are generous and the prices very reasonable. An enjoyable, relaxing evening. Recommend.

We had a very good experience having lunch here. The name "Tasca" is deceiving because is a restaurant above the average, both in price and quality. We had the menu for 36⬠that was excellent. A variety of starters all delicious and then the obliged paella of the region with choice of types. For desert also a good variety. Very friendly service and a courtesy limoncello on the house to close the meal.

We had 3 nights in Castellon and found Restaurante Mediterraneo on the first night from TripAdvisor. This restaurant ticked all the boxes. Great welcome, great service, great ambiance, and great food and wine. This restaurant is run by a family now in its 3rd generation. 3 brothers out front. One an expert in wine. And another brother, Victor, in the kitchen. Everything is outstanding and the price represents very good value. We went back 3 nights in a row. These people run a great business. Obviously we were impressed. If you are in this area this restaurant will add to your trip experience. Highly recommended.
