It was so hard to decide what to have for lunch at Larsonâs Lunch Box. Lobstah roll? Kielbasa Reuben? American Chop Suey? All great choices, however, we decided on crab rolls. I think my husband and I hit the jackpot. The hot dog roll was lightly toasted with butter and filled with sweet crab salad. Our wait was a little long, but with only two people working the stand, I think they were working as fast as they could. The menu was adult and kid friendly and the prices were competitive to the area. Picnic tables with umbrellas offer nice shade from the heat. Open Tuesday- Saturday.Thank you so much for the review! We are so glad you enjoyed the crab rolls. We are especially proud of them. We hope to see you again and again thank you for sharing your experience.

Scallops cooked perfectly by Karen herself. I liked that they were not drowning in batter. I don't think fries are homemade, but my husband really liked the Cole slaw and the lobster roll. I can see tourists being put off by the side of the road trailer appearance, but worth a stop for a good lunch.

I was on vacation with my mom and looking for a place that might have more locals than tourists. This was definitely it. The menu is very extensive, there is something for everyone but I recommend keeping it simple and ordering the soup bar. The haddock chowder was excellent, there are also 2 other daily soups to choose from and a wide variety of breads to go with it. We also tried the lobster roll, haddock crab filet and blueberry pie. Everything was excellent. Service can be a bit slow but for the most part the staff was friendly and it was worth the wait. Grab a drink, check out the view, relax and have some patience and you'll do just fine.

Come and visit us at King Eider's Pub in the heart of the coastal village of Damariscotta Maine. Our historic building has been home to many interesting businesses over its 100+ years. Today, its warmth draws the visitor into the first floor pub with its
Came in at 745 and was immediately seated despite a very busy dining room. Scott was serving us and mixing drinks. He was exceptional. Knew beers extremely well! They were out of Allagash White and he immediately offered comparable (better) alternative, for my girlfriend,a Portland, ME brewed Heffeweisen that was fantastic. He made me a Don Julio margarita that was obviously made with great bartending skill. Service and food exceeded our expectations. Well worth the price!

This little fast food/take out place had the best fried seafood and onion rings that we had during our whole trip to Maine! The inside is sparkling clean and fashionably decorated (looks like a recent remodel). The fried clams were especially good, crispy on the outside, tender on the inside. Nothing was overly greasy or oily. The staff are very friendly. We enjoyed this $35 meal as much as (or more than) some of the $100+ meals we had during our trip. Highly recommend this little unassuming gem.

I am a regular patron. The bar at the happy hour has been a delight. I know that there are new owners. Happy hour drinks are somewhat more expensive now. I also understand that meals are more expensive with smaller portions. Not a recipe for success.Hi there, we are sorry you've found happy hour a little less happy lately - that's not OK with us. We are keeping tabs on pricing for the usual business reasons but are very focused on making sure the portions remain healthy and there is lots of value to be had - especially at happy hour! Thank you for your feedback.

My wife and I stopped at Sprague's for lunch. The lines at Red's across the road were way too long. We ordered twin lobsters and shared fries. The lobster was sweet and tender. The fries are hand-cut and wonderful! Prices were reasonable. They don't take credit cards -- which is the case for most lobster shacks along the road. But the service was friendly and reasonably quick. They do charge $2 to "rent" crackers for cracking the lobster claws . . . . but it is refundable when you return them to the order window. We would definitely go back!

Once again, my husband and I had an amazing dinner. We called two nights before and got a reservation (lucky us!). I had the seafood risotto and my husband had the shrimp scampi. Mine was one of the best meals I've ever had. Fresh ingredients, beautifully served...just delicious. We had the carrot cake for dessert and it may have been one of the best carrot cake's I've had! This little gem is our absolute favorite and so happy it's close!
