I had driven past this place once, but they were closed. So this time when we were hungry, we picked this place. It's so small, you almost miss it. Super friendly and so accommodating when I asked if they could make a sandwich without olive spread. All the food we ordered was very good - especially their hush puppies! Prices are reasonable and the live singer had a nice voice. Will definitely visit them again.

My sister and I ate breakfast at this restaurant while staying at a cottage in the Dunedin area. The restaurant was clean and the service was excellent. We each chose the more adventurous selection--Lobster Benedict--and it was very tasty and quite filling. If you are looking for a small privately owned place to enjoy breakfast, this restaurant will definitelymeet your need.Thank you!!

Southern Coastal cuisine served in a 1903 cottage. Come on out for a craft cocktail from our national award winning bartenders, or just enjoy some of the freshest seafood around! We look forward to seeing you.
Couldn't have asked for a more professional, attentive, responsive server. Liked the new look of open dining with large bar in the center. It has been over 4 years since last here so they had done quite a bit of remodeling. Our food was generally quite good with few empty plates as evidence of our liking . The blackened grouper and the fried shrimp po' boy were big hits as was the calimare. Could have passed on the Cedar Key clams served in a spicy red sauce as it overwhelmed the taste of the clams. The chili needed more salt but that may just be my preferred taste.Location is very convenient just off Alt 19 with plenty of private parking. Like the fact they have both indoor and outdoor seating, the latter on a large porch to the front of the restaurant. Will definitely return and won't wait 4 more years.Oh they had live music on Sat. afternoon, nice add.Could lower the amps a bit!

My wife and I decided to try this for lunch on my birthday.Wow, we are hooked [no pun intended]. We started out with the happy hour house wine and me with a craft beer. Had the Blue crab with goat cheese spread. Delish' A must, but, it can feed 4.Our entries were fabulous. My wifes Mahi with mango, orange salsa was the best she has eaten, and, she eats a lot of Mahi.Very casual, good service. We will be bringing back friends.

I visited Frenchy's Outpost for the first time in April and loved it just as much as Frenchy's Rockaway. I spent the day on the beach at Honeymoon Island and decided that, since this restaurant was just off the causeway, I'd stop for dinner and go back to the beach for sunset. I was seated very quickly and had great service. The Fire Island grouper sandwich with potato salad was just what I needed to fill up my belly from a long day on the beach, and the Key Lime Colada...oh goodness was it good! I enjoyed the meal and the atmosphere so much, I went back and did it all over again a few days later. Looking forward to my trip in October!!

This restaurant is in a lovely waterfront spot in Dunedin. The view is excellent. The food is only average. I had the grilled chicken salad, which was adequate. You couldnât really taste the lemon in the dressing at all. Another person in our party had the Greek salad, which was very attractively presented. My son had the grouper sandwich, which he felt was soggy and my husband had a burger, which was overcooked. They also had no barbecue sauce for the burger. Our waiter was nice enough, but there are better places to eat in Dunedin, so I would not rush back here.Thank you for your recent visit and review. We are sorry to learn that your experience was less then perfect. We always like to encourage our guests to let us know at the time of visit if anything was amiss, this way we have an opportunity rectify anything on the spot if possible. We hope to see again in the near future.kind regardsChristianManager / Bon Appetit

My very first virgin stone crab festival and I will absolutely be returning. Sat outside and listened to an incredible Blue Lightening band with a breeze in the background. Servers were good and busy. Drinks were strong and cheap compared to most. Stonecrab and shrimp were fantastic. Huge portions and fresh with lots of meat

Ocean Flame offers indoor & outdoor dining with breathtaking views of the Gulf of Mexico. We offer our famous Sunday Champagne Brunch, daily breakfast buffet and world-class dinner buffet. Watch our expert Chefs prepare amazing dishes right on the line wh
This buffet used to be amazing, but the last two times we came here the quality of the food is lacking. The prime rib was cold, extremely tough and fatty. We didn't have reservations on Saturday night and sat outside even though the dining room was half full with tons of empty seats. The hostess claimed they were for reservations even though their was no one waiting. The seafood was tasteless and all of the breads were extremely hard. The bbq chicken was the best thing and their was no other meat or steak option. Drinks and plates were served and cleared quickly by the best thing of the night our sever Yvanna. She was extremely pleasant, very friendly and most helpful. Being outside we got to see an amazing sunset, and Yvanna even offered to take pictures of us. She definitely made the night. We most likely will not come back to to Ocean Flame based on the past two experiences. Thank you for your feedback. We hope that you will visit again as we have made changes to the buffet recently.
