Reviews on Seafood food in Dobropoljana, Dalmatia, Croatia. Dobropoljana is a village in Croatia on a cove on the north side of the island of Pašman, Zadar County. It is located below the highest peak on the island (Bokolj, 274 m). Chief occupations are farming, olive growing, fishing and seafaring. The marina is protected from south and west winds and provides good shelter for smaller yachts. First mentioned in 1270, Dobropoljana was intensely populated in the 17th century by refugees from the Zadar hinterland. It is connected by the D110 highway to the rest of the island of Pašman.

Nice place, pleasant waitress at start.. I thought that it is good restaurant.. Never! We ordered tomato soup and it was INSTANT soup from bag! After they brought to me salat with cheese and it was really small portion and high price! My friends ordered pizzas and it were almost raw.. My next friend ordered meat with baked potatoes and waitress brought cooked potatoes instead of it and she said that it is baked.. So if it was baked we are all stupid! I am really angry from this restaurant!!!

A charming old tavern that offers a taste of modern but traditional cuisine ...
We made reservations as we had been turned away before as it gets busy after 7 pm. This place has beautiful ambiance and is a very relaxing place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the chaos right outside the street. Our server was very sweet: courteous and very professional. The drinks were mixed just right. And the house wine was really good. I almost asked to buy a bottle. The food was good but nothing extraordinary. The restaurant is also on the pricy side. We had the monk fish in sauce, steak with potatoes, sea bass filet, and the turkey salad. Everything was cooked well and tasted good. We would like to return but don't have the time this vacation. I would try different dishes next time.

It is a really comfortable and cozy restaurant, very nice waitresses, the food was very good. We ordered fresh, grilled fish which tasted absolutely amazing! We came back the day after because we were very happy with the food we ordered. We would definitely recommend this restaurant. The only negative thing is that it takes quite a lot of time until the food is served but it's worth the wait!

Excellent food - my husband's spaghetti with scampi was one of the best dishes I've ever tasted. My steak was superb too.We were just walking past, and a customer sat outside having a cigarette said "yes, eat here. You'll enjoy it, then want to come again tomorrow, and the day after that, and the day after that..." He was right!

Due to our sailing trips we are frequent guests in Marina Sukošan. We never bothered to search for an alternative, so we always stopped at Guste. This time we had bad luck which turned out to be very good. Guste was full so we proceeded to the centre of the village. From outside nothing special, bud when our ladies entered to check the interior we decidet to give Griblja a chance. As it was not full, the waiter had the time, will and knowledge about food and wine they serve. His suggestions were much appreciated and wellcomed at the end. He suggested us some wine etiquettes, which were off the main stream. Fiore's Malvasia was the right choice, but Korlat's Cabernet Sauvignon was not upon our taste. Unfortunately they ran out of Clai's Ottocento.Food was prepared and served nice, with explanations and suggestions about garnishing with different types of olive oil.As it was a nice surprise at the first time, we returned after 10 days again, to double check. Maybe we just had luck at the first time. Luckily it was not luck. Good experience was repeated.Summing all together; nothing was for 6 Star. Neither the food nor service. But when all inputs (interior, service, food, beverage...) get summarised 2+2 makes 5. And that is ballance which counts.

The staff was very friendly and nice, service was very quick. Food was tasty and delicious. I recommend to visit this place.
In the middle of the winter, we had business lunch in this family owned restaurant. Although there were pracitically no guests, the lunch was perfect, all went well. We eat fish called "romb" which was very deliciously prepared and served. With bottle of nice Malvazija wine and great deserts. The restaurant is so neat, clean, in order- Waiter was very professional and kind.
