Very good restaurant with very good staff. The food was tasty but we were missing the wow experience that one expect when going to a two Michelin starred restaurant. It might be because one's expectations always climb but it sometimes feels like it's easier to get Michelin stars in France, Belgium and Luxembourg.I was quite astonished that the restaurant do not offer any wine pairing. And that they offer only four (or five) wines by the glass! We however got a very good Champagne at a very fair price but come one this need to be better.All in all a good experience which though was lagging wow moments and didn't live up to its price tag.

This is a small and wonderful restaurant to which we regularly return. The menu changes with seasons (in the autumn/winter try their amazing game dishes) and the food is very tasty and cooked to perfection. Mr Domingos, who serves the meals, is an expert on drinks and has a great selection of prime wines, liquors (gins particularly) and rare beers. Book and you will not be disappointed! Highly recommended, by far the best restaurant in the area.

Read any business book on the secrets of a succesful business, particularly in the restaurant business and the following buzzwords might appear: location (location, location, location, often repeated a zillion times), original concept, name to remember, fresh produce, a chef with a reputation and a funky interior....... that's probably also the reason why black swans are rare, the wisdom of crowds might not always be right and companies like Apple/Uber/Tripadvisor exist. Because my fellow tripadvisor readers, t Brass Koikke, irrespective of its impossible spelling and name to remember, does absolutely not meet any of the given criteria above. So on its route to bankruptcy? Far from it, believe me. First find it, do not expect a special concept, no funky interior, no famous chef and try to memorize the name (you might need some help at it). But once there, enjoy a limited choice of traditional dishes, all prepared to perfection, at extremely democratic prices, served by professional staff. It is simply good, I cannot say more and I had nothing to complain about. It even has a traditional local beer, which I won't spell but translates into horse-eater. This guy will need mouth to mouth advertising, tripadvisor reviews to survive because no way you will ever walk in that street in search of a bite. But here I am, I support t Brass Koikke. Go there. NOTE: not open on weekends.

What looks like a neighborhood eating place is actually a world renowned gastronomic restaurant, specialized in Belgian dishes and more particularly in the preparation of the mussels. It offers no less than 69 different recipes! We tasted 3 of them and found them equally delicious. The place looks like an old Brussels tavern with Belgian comics on the walls. The service was pleasant and efficient. My wife and I come here regularly with our daughter. The staff are very friendly and the service is excellent. The steak is recommended as it is cooked just how you like it and is so tender.The new menu has many other delights for you to try. I would highly recommend anyone in the area to sample the delights of Sicilian cooking at La Perla. Well done to Ivan, Roberta and Ben.
