Having stayed locally on an extended holiday, my wife and I have eaten at Le Nereidi on many occasions. The staff have always been friendly and the food excellent value and attractively presented. Our final dinner for this trip was a wonderful platter of anchovies and thinly sliced swordfish prepared with a spicy marinade, which we shared, mopping up the last of the sauce with our bread. Then my wife chose a risotto with squash flowers and prosciutto crudo (Parma ham) that had been cooked on the grill to achieve a beautifully crispy texture. Meanwhile I had the most tender roasted beef that had been cooked in aromatic herb butter and was served with small potatoes cooked in their skins on the grill too. The flavour was sublime and the meat just melted in the mouth. I was easily persuaded to have a dessert of a delightfully creamy homemade tiramisu, which my wife gladly shared! Afterwards we had coffees before chatting to the owners about when weâll next be back.

The venue is simply spectacular - a period farmhouse amidst luscious orchards and gardens, secluded and oh, so romantic. Our compliments to the owners who also manage the restaurant. Coming to the food, the thing we appreciated most was the delightfully cooling sangria. We have nothing to say about the rest of the courses, they were the usual dishes you can taste anywhere in the region, from the first to the main (fish) course. Nothing to write home about. But plenty of wonderful atmosphere - and that can make one's night out.

Lovely Food with friendly service in this small hotel/restaurant hidden behind the railway tracks.Menu choice was varied with some thoughtful options for the region and season. Under new management (3-4 years ago) the family-run small business is friendly and helpful, the food well-cooked and attractively presented. We didn't check out the newly refurbished rooms (all en-suite) but will do so next time. Location is the only drawback. Trains are infrequent, so we weren't disturbed, but for an overnight stay? A fair old trot to the beach and other attractions if you are disabled or have small children.

beautiful beach with a lovely promenade, lots of little places to stop and have a coffee or ice cream. While a lot of hotels had their own private stretch of beach you could hire a small changing area and sunbeds for a week if needs be. Beaches and surrounding areas were impeccably clean

So far, we have had our best meal by far at this restaurant. In the evening they provide a set menu for 25 euros I believe. For this you get a mixed Antipasti board to share, a drink, a main course from a selection of about 25, as much salad and dessert you care to eat from the buffet, plus a coffee or limoncello. I choose a fish dish and it was lovely. There is also a kids offering at 7 euros for a main, chosen from 3, and a drink. The food was all beautifully presented. For example, the kids choose burger and chips and it arrived on a painters palette, with room for 4 sauces. Lovely place.

We had lunch at this delightful little restaurant, the fixed menu comprising of Ligurian specialities of starter, main course, a glass of wine and a refillable bottle of water - no plastic. The starter was Bandacujun, a mixture of salt cod and potato rather like a rissole without the breadcrumbs and very tasty indeed. The main course was a lasagne with homemade pesto and was delicious. Altogether a very satisfying lunch

Good place for a lunch break. Very kind staff. The tables are just a couple of steps from the sea. Normal salads, great pasta with homemade pesto.

Recently re-opened with a new management, Lo Stregatto commands superb views over the Diano green valley descending into the blue of the Mediterranean. The perfect setting for a first-class cuisine. The chefs come from that blessed lower Lombardy area and are extraordinarily creative with first courses. Our party of three have chosen three home-made pasta dishes (Regina, Barbariccia and Messicana) representing the best assembled flavours possible - delicate, oceanic and exotic respectively - and happily stuck to one dish only, to appreciate the subtlety of it.A flute of the best Prosecco to open the meal - which was elected as the main accompaniment as well - and a little espresso to close it helped mak this a truly memorable dinner in a balmy August evening.

A nice evening above the Mediterranean in the nice atmosphere of the La Femme. We had menu degustiazione for one and Antipasti and secondo piatto separately. It was prepared accordingly but a little design-oriented more than extraordinary taste. The pulpo crosta though was excellent, the different dips/cremes ( as well as those accompanying the raw fish platter (nigiri) nevertheless were boring. Vitello tonnato was a good portion with lots of tonno taste. The roasted fish then was very tasty and excellent together with Ligurian vegetables. The desert was again a little boring and unambitious. Over all we had a very nice evening, service was friendly and efficient, but to be honest we had a little higher expectation-maybe next time.
