We arrived at this restaurant last night for dinner at 8.30. We were very well looked after from the moment we walked in. Our waiter recommended a beautiful wine to accompany our meal and looked after us from start to finish. I had scallops to start and pork for main. My partner had cold meats and beef fillet. All were cooked to perfection. The decor is gorgeous and the view of the lake is wonderful. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for beautifully cooked food and great service. 10/10.

Yumi Sush Experience - Japanese restaurant
I visited Yumi Sushi for lunch twice during a recent 8 day holiday in Desenzano. My two teenage sons absolutely loved it because they offer 'All-You-Can-Eat' sushi at a low cost. The sushi was well made, and there are also hot ramen/soups and hot rice/noodle dishes on offer. All tasted great - comparable to Yo Sushi in England. The dinner menu is a bit more expensive, but has a greater range of options. The restaurant currently opens at 7.30pm, which is a bit late, but par for the course in Italy!

This restaurant is in the centre of Desenzano, a little hidden because it lays in an alley. Very good Italian food (lot of locals come here), friendly personal and not very expensive. We really loved it and are surprised nobody has written about it before
Maybe I misread the menu, but it wasnât quite what I was expecting.I had the mixed fish grill. I was expecting fried calamari, fried prawns, fried scampi (which I thought was a typo because that IS fried prawns) and Seabass. What I got was 2 boiled squid (body and legs) what Iâd call shrimp rather than prawns (theyâre bigger and you have to peel away the exoskeleton, head and tail) what I read as scampi was in reality scampo (I had to look this up and it is a kind of shrimp/lobster creature) and a fillet of Seabass (at least there was one thing here that I had expected to get)I donât like to make a fuss in a restaurant so decided to give everything a try.I like calamari, so figured the squid are just that without the batter.I have eaten shrimp before and enjoy them (I just donât eat them often because I believe taking them apart should be a chefs job, not the customers) and I ate the scampo because itâs basically the same thing just bigger. The Seabass was as every other review Iâve read here, deliciousâMaybe Iâd have been happier with the Seabass with baked potatoes? Live and learnSorry gentleman...But I don't know if You are taking joke of me or if You are really serious. You also took the picture of menu... Do you really don't know the difference about FRIED and GRILL???

Desenzano is full of touristy trap style eateries but this small, friendly and characterful trattoria bucks the trend. We had some superb fresh hand made pasta (I had tagliatelle with hare, my wife with porcini) - excellent quality and presentation - great selection of wines even though the house wine (a local gropello) itself was perfect. Really friendly and attentive service from Margherita the owner. Will return for sure next time in the area!

We ate here twice during our week's stay the hotel. Picturesque setting on the outdoor terrace overlooking the lake. The food is excellent and well-presented, with dishes we've not experienced before in Italy. The service was excellent - attentive but not overbearing. The bill came to more than other local restaurants we tried but worth it for the dining experience. Hotel residents get a 10% reduction except on Saturdays. Booking recommended, especially at weekendsDear JCBShipley, thank you so much for your great review. It's a honour we helped you discover some new Italian specialties you had never tried before! Hopefully you will visit us again to have a restful stay in our wonderful location by the lake. Warm regards from all the staff

We dined here for a birthday meal. We reserved a table for 7pm. We were the first people in the restaurant and seated straight away. We ordered some Prosecco and beer and perused the menu. At once we noticed a 7 course tasting menu, enquirer could it be paired with wines ( it could) and we were in business. The food was excellent, the service prompt, but not rushed, overall just what you would expect from a high end restaurant. It is on the more expensive end of restaurants in Desenzano, but worth it for a treat, or special occasion. It was very busy, so booking would be advised. We enjoyed the experience BrigidIrish People are beautiful people.Thank's to be with us, we are grateful you enjoyed our tasting menù and our Italian wine pairing. Our job is so easy and so "funny" when we work for people like you.All the best to you!La Lepre's TEAM!

We like to think of our restaurant as a warm and elegant place, where you can feel part of our passion for food and wine .. ..to send you to an exciting experience, each time different.
What a fantastic meal. We went for the taster menu. The food was exceptional with my favourite being the veal tongue. The staff were attentive and personable. We asked for a wine recommendation and after a few questions the young waiter hit the spot. The view matched the food and we loved the experience.Couple of suggestions....It was really hot, and there didnât seem to be any aircon... suggest a few fans to keep the air moving... the staff did very well to stay focussed despite the heat.Do something about the millions of tiny flies around the grass area. We are glad we sat inside.

Located in the historic center of Sirmione, Ristorante il Girasole has a large dining room (for non-smokiners) and a partly covered terrace surrounded by flowers and plants, which overlooks the picturesque Via Vittorio Emanuele . It is an ideal restaurant

Caffè Città Is The Best Restaurant In The Malvezzi's Square, All Food Is Only Express, There Are Many Fish Of Garda Lake Dishes, Meat And Pizza, cake , Cocktail And Typical Wine White And Red.
Having not had a great experience in Desenzano since arriving this little place changed things. Since walking through the door being greeted with âsit wherever you would likeâ to the delicious food it was really lovely. The carbonara and lasagne potions were the perfect size accompanied by a bruschetta to share and a bottle of Sauvignon. Having a rule that makes me never go back to the same restaurant twice in one trip the best compliment I can give this little jewel is that we will return to spend our last evening here oh and the tiramisu
