Find out what Seafood restaurants to try in Dallas. You may have all heard that everything is bigger in Texas. Well, Dallas does its best to fulfill that promise. You'll find several museums with vast art collections and fascinating specialty museums like The Sixth Floor Museum/Texas School Book Depository, which, though small in size, offers an immense amount of information about the assassination of John F. Kennedy. And of course, visit a local steakhouse for a terrific (and enormous) meal.

Convivial chain dishing up hearty portions of New Orleans-style seafood, steaks, salads & more.
This chain was recommended to several tines before our visit. The place had about 300 covers and was packed. The menu was vast with many seafood, fish and chicken options. Soups and Salads were available, as well as a full bar. The dessert menu was small but looked fantastic. The dessert brownie didnt disappoint, although the gumbo and salads were very average indeed. For the price only average.

Everything about Cafe Pacific is perfect. The food, the ambiance and the service. This is our "must go to" place everytime we're in Dallas. Fist of all, the seafood is over the top good here. We've tried something new every time we've come and everything we've had has been outstanding. This time we had the recommended fresh caught Copper River Salmon and it was to die for, along with the mushroom risotto (I highly recommend) and sauteed spinach (also fantastic) Everything was exquisitely prepared and extremely tasty. We've never had a bad server here, but Mike made our evening even better. He was helpful, attentive and you could tell he loved working there. The ambience also makes the experience better. It's small, comfortable, cozy and perfect for a special occasion. It's located in Highland Park, a very high end shopping area, so go early and enjoy a stroll beforehand. They have complimentary valet parking so you don't even have to worry about finding a spot. I cannot say enough good things about Cafe Pacific.

Located in North Dallas, III Forks serves the ultimate in Texas French cuisine. III Forks is a restaurant that has recreated the grandiose lifestyle experienced by Texans who believed that fine dining was a perfect combination of great food, great service
I wanted to like this place. It has a lot of charm. But when you walk in and sot down at your table ....you cant help to notice the water stain ceilings or the dirty linen walls. The tables are antiquated and poor condition. I was hoping that the food would make up for the lack of ambience like the appetizer .. nope.. or the steak ... it was âmeh.â I said I really wanted to like this place but when you look at its serious competition Like Nick and Samâs and Del Frisco III Forks need a major makeover and a renovation... For the money you might as well go to Dunstin steak house itâs cheaper in the foods is probably just as average.Thank you for dining with us and for your review. I'm sorry that the ambiance was not outstanding and that your meal was not exceptional. I'd like to look into this further for you. May I please have the name used for your reservation?

Very nice ambiance and tastefully decorated, with an excellent bar. Clean crisp linens and very attentive waiters. Service was excellent. Steaks were pretty good, sides average. Dessert again pretty good but expensive. Very extensive wine list. The overall ambiance was very good, but the food was actually pretty average for the high price. Overall an average experience.

Serving up elegant Texas cuisine since 1996, we offer the finest cuts of steak and fresh fish, but we are legendary for our extensive wild game selection -- many of which roam freely over our 48,000 acre ranch in the Texas Hill Country.
The restaurant has a great Texas ambiance-setting. The waitstaff are very attentive and knowledgeable. Great service while we were there. The chopped filet does leave a little to be desired. A little clarification on what it actually is (burger) and it may not have been so disappointing. I would go back for a true filet as the neighboring table had them and they looked great.Thank you for your review. We strive to deliver the best and I am sorry that we did not meet your dining expectations. I welcome all concerns and can be reached directly at [email protected] Again, thank you for taking the time for this review and I look forward to hearing from you.

Convivial chain dishing up hearty portions of New Orleans-style seafood, steaks, salads & more.
So weâve been to Papadeaux several times now, different locations. And Iâm confident in saying the food is microwaved. Room temperature outside, hot on the inside. Had the special Rainbow trout which was a little bland, overpowered by the butter. Iâm sure the fried dishes are better, cooked to order. At these prices, Iâd expect the food to be cooked to order. Giving it 3 stars for the coconut shrimp appetizer. Excellent start, but the entrees sadly couldnât live up to the description.

From the moment we announced ourselves at the reception desk all the way through dinner, the staff did everything possible to help us enjoy our anniversary dinner. We were greeted with "happy anniversary" as we arrived, upon introduction by our waiter, Ron, and as we left. The table selection was out of the way in almost private corner - nice! There were even rose petals on our table and a complimentary desert. I'll get to the food and service in a moment, but suffice it to say it was a wonderful evening.Ron took excellent care of us throughout the evening. He poured my Martinis from the shakers at the table (not spilling a drop!) just the way I like them. I started with the Crab Cake appetizer, and my spouse started with the French Onion soup. The Crab Cake with mustard/horseradish cream was heavenly. The French Onion was a large portion and devilishly rich. I also wanted a salad with my Lamb Chops and Ron recommended a half portion of the Chop Chop salad - it was indeed the right choice. the half portion was plenty large enough. My spouse's Sea Bass was perfectly prepared and delicious. My Lamb Chops were, again a generous portion, perfectly medium rare, but hot through, and delicious as well. I like that they have a generous wine by the glass offering so you and your dining partner can have different wines to go with different food choices or if you just don't feel like drinking all that much wine.Ron did indeed take wonderful care of us and invited us back for our next anniversary, and you know, we just might do that! One more surprise, as lovely as the entire evening was from beginning to end, the bill was surprisingly reasonable. So, one more reason to go back and see Ron!Thank you so much for your kind words. We are delighted that you enjoyed so much and appreciate you choosing to celebrate with us! We hope to help you celebrate again next year!

Loved this spot in uptown Dallas. A historic building from the early 1900âs hosts this fine shrimp and oyster establishment. We enjoyed cold beer, boiled shrimp (cold), and a dozen oysters with a great side salad with 1000 dressing. Yum.I would come here again and again and again. Simple decor all about the food!

Our Dallas seafood, steak and crab house restaurant offers the freshest Florida stone crab, fine wines, full bar and tender steaks. Enjoy fine dining with our weekly updated seafood and steak menu.
We really like Trulucks as the menu has great balance. Had some friends in and went again. Food as always was excellent. The Sonoma salad is a must have as are the has browned potatoes. The few disappointments were in my steak came out raw when asked for Med Rare, and they ran out of the special (at 6:30pm on a Sunday night). Waiter told us we took too long to order. REALLY! It was 6:30 and no advanced notice on short supply. That was disappointing, but it didn't take too much away from the food taste. They fixed the steak spot on, but my wife had to switch to the tuna and that was fairly average.
