This seafront brasserie-style restaurant serves lunch and dinner. You can enjoy a relaxing moment with a drink in the lounge. An for our friendly little ones, a fun menu is also available.
Staying at the hotel and having serval meetings, I ate at the restaurant maybe 4 times. The front of house staff are lazy and disinterested, more iterested in chatting than helping guests! Table service was good and the staff helpful. The spring rolls were served very hot and the tuna pate was excellant. Salads, steaks and curries were all good and I even enjoyed the local dish yassa poulet, though the chicken was a little dry. The Terrasse is very popular with expat locals and one night with live music and a big outside buffet, it was packed. Good atmosphere, yes I'd recommend it!Dear Durris681,Thank you for sharing your experience at the restaurant La Terrasse. We are happy that you appreciated the service et the staff for wich it is an honor. HAppy also that you enjoyed the spingrolls, the tuna, the salads and steak, and the yassa wich is one of the main local dish in Senegal. Sorry about the front house staff. Your remark will be forwarded to the restaurant Director. We hope to see you back very soon.IbrahimaCustomer Care Service

Iâve been to sharkys twice. I ate quinoa burger with vegetables and Greek salad . It was fresh and delicious. Unfortunately the two times Iâve been there they didnât have hummus although it is mentioned in the menu. My partner had a chicken curry wich was served on a cream basis (not coconut). But the sauce was delicious with a variety of vegetables. The other time he ordered Thiof with Fries. Also very delicious and fresh.Little bit too expensive for Senegal in my view. But the the view is worth it. Also I was disappointed by the service. Slow, not attentive and quite unfriendly and they were not well informed about the food they serve.Hi Zoe, thank you very much for your feedbacks. I am happy you liked the Quinoa Burger and the Greek Salad. We will bring to the chef attention the comment on the chicken curry. Sorry about that experience. Thank you for you trust.

The restaurant was recommended to me and I wasn't disappointed. I had a huge grilled fish (1 kg head and tail included) which was tasty and tender and a large salad. It was well priced. The waitress was very friendly and accommodating. There was live jazz playing. 2 downsides: lots of flies - better inside but still not absent - and the TVs competed with the live music.

Peruvian restaurant with excellent food and good service, a rare combination in Dakar! Try the cerviche, one of their specialities and very good according to my friends. The beef teriyaki on a hot stone was a fun dish but messy to eat with the steak cooking in front of you! Iâd do it again though as it was really good.

Restaurant La Pointe des Almadies is an outdoor restaurant that overlooks the sea. Specalized in PAELLA and seafood
I couldn't afford to dine here but wanted to stand on the westernmost tip of the African continent. I was stood on the rocky beach eating places to my left and right. Waves strangely calm with a menacing streak. The souvenir handmade artisans stalls arranged in a cul de sac just off the ocean behind the little strip of sand I cannot recommend highly enough. Here I found my most prized souvenir to remember my sojourn to these parts. Next to the stalls is a large standing space for vehicles. Soft billowing winds, thatched huts & beautiful handicrafts made my day. Hello Americas!

I was at Noflaye Beach restaurant for dinner with my crew. I enjoyed the well done fish for dinner with rice and vegetables. Great view of the ocean with play area for the kids. Free wifi. Middle price.

We lived opposite and decide to try this location after hearing great reviewsWe sat next to the pool. It was quiet, clean and no mosquitos. We had 1-1 cocktails which was strong We ordered 2 entrees - cerviche, mussels and ravioli with squid. The courses were served fast, food was flavoured and well plated. Although it was pricer than other restaurants this was worth a visit once a while for a good treat

I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. We stopped in for lunch on the recommendation of our hotel and were charmed by the decor and the location of the restaurant. The staff was very friendly and put us at a table overlooking the ocean and
Great spot to sit with a cold beverage and enjoying the view of the Atlantic. Very close to the western-most point on continental Africa, and the dramatic environs donât disappoint. Watching the surf break over the rocks at sunset is definitely recommended.

It's a nice place to watch people and the beach/harbour.Food is nice, but portions are too small for the price; only French is spoken. Service is on the slow side.
