We had a lite lunch here earlier in the week. Service was good, Mr P had the salt and pepper squid entree which had a side of which I think was harissa. I had the scallops (3) which were cooked well and on a sweetcorn purée, itâs was ok. They had lots of meat dishes to choose from if you didnât want seafood. Overall it was good with a reasonable wine list.

Sails on Lavender Bay is perched on the shore of Sydneyâs magnificent harbour with post card views of the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge. It is the perfect venue for those wanting to experience the quintessential beauty of the city. Sails on Lavend
I cannot fault the quality of this restaurantâs seafood. The gin cured kingfish with fresh crab was delicious as was the Pink Snapper and the Trevalla. My husband also enjoyed his seared scallops immensely. The staff were fabulous. Very professional without being intrusive. Harbour views are always a bonus. The only issue is parking which is difficult as there really is only street parking. I would recommend catching the ferry or an Uber / taxi. There is however a single disabled parking spot across the road. Very happy to recommend and to return.

All our dishes were excellent which offset the very slow service for our group of six. Fortunately management recognized this and comped our last round of drinks and desert. It was a good a response as possible.

Worth the booking. Immaculate seating, decore and polished service by dedicated, educated staff. The view is the gateway to Sydney harbour. The femme gorged on a doz. oysters, scotch fillet with mushies, bacon and creamed potatoes. I plumped for the whiting with vongole, creamed corn, farro and parsley oil. We shared sheep milk pannacotta with berry sorbet, strawberry, meringue and white chocolate. Order me a stretcher, si vous plais .

Enjoying an excellent reputation as one of Sydneyâs best seafood restaurants, the Sydney Cove Oyster Bar is the only seafood restaurant positioned right on the waterâs edge at Sydney Cove. The menu has a modern feel with an abundance of Australian shellfi
We had dinner prior to a show at The Opera House. Overall we enjoyed our experience and especially the view, watching a cruise ship depart and the goings on at the harbour. However food was not consistently as good as expected and some portions were small. The prawns and oysters were wonderful. San Choy Bao was 2 tiny portions. Rocket & pear salad was tasty but leaves were massive and hard to eat. Sourdough bread portion was huge but came with a small portion of olive oil.For an establishment focused on seafood we were surprised to have to ask for a bowl for shells and extra napkins. No finger bowl which was a bit gross.Waiters were plentiful and very attentive to our needs.
