April 13 quiet end of season in Cortina. We walked to the country club to sit with a beer in the sun whilst we waited for a pizza to take home. These pizzas are huge for 3-4 people and rustic style with whole meal flour and fresh, inventive ingredients. This is no American chain pizza. This is how you would make it at home if you were creative and talented. Not cheap at Over Euro40 but has been declared "best ever pizza" by an older family member who has definitely had a large sample size to make a statistically significant finding. If you are in Cortina, there is easy parking at the Country club to pick up a pizza - or it's a pleasant walk by the river to pick one up. Oh.... menu is totally in Italian BTW.
In a comfortable dining room of Hotel Europa in Cortina, the Cervo d'Oro Restaurant is famous for the skill of its chef Maurizio Aluotto and an extraordinary wine cellar with a selection of more than 300 wines from the best Italian and foreign wineries. I
We had such a pleasant and perfect evening in Cervo d'oro that I can only warmly recommend it. This former stable from the 16th century was very tastefully refurbished in a very nice mountain-atmosphere. The food was EXCELLENT, tasty and just wonderful. Very pleasant staff with a good sense of humour. Go and try out this restaurant for a nice evening!!

Stumbled upon this restaurant while walking, they accommodated us even though they were busy. Staff was warm, pleasant and attentive. Food was excellent and reasonably priced. Food made with more attention and care than other restaurants in the area, with a bit of "farm to Table" vibe. Definitely a good choice

When we arrived, the owner explained that he doesn't know unti that day what the best fish will be. So, there is no printed menu. We told him to bring us whatever he thought looked best in the kitchen. The seafood was extraordinary, especially for a restaurant 90km north of the Adriatic. We appreciated the personal attention to detail.

Outstanding restaurant that combines high-end dishes, a great wine list, and the feel of a perfectly curated modern mountain retreat with warm lighting and characteristic wood. The chef and staff are incredible - we even made time to visit a 2nd time during our week skiing in Cortina. Only a few minutes from the center of town, this will be your dining highlight of your visit to Cortina d'Ampezzo. Highly Recommended!

A very high standard of cooking and service , a restaurant that clearly aims to deliver a Michelin star experience, propbably a menu that means that itâs more for special occasions rather than regular dining . Only criticism would be that over the course of the winter season would be good to have a few menu changes but you know what you are going to get and it is very good
