You get what you pay for And that is the top. They also offered some dishes free.Well worth a detour, it's easy by train from Rome.

We tried Giardino del Simposio for lunch on a sunny Saturday and totally fell in love with it. The place is quite small, so be sure to reserve a table. It's nicely located, with a relaxing atmosphere. The menu is all wrapped around Trombolotto. As the owner will explain you, it's an infusion of local lemon juice, olive oil and a mix of spices which grow in the area. It goes back to Middle Age as origin. You will be able to taste it with a bit of bread as soon as you sit. I found it delicious. We had as starter a mix of grilled veggie, fried artichoke (super tasty) and bruschetta with tomatoes and marinated anchovies. As main dish I tried the tuna carbonara and loved it. They will bring you the cooked fresh pasta and make the dish at your table, adding Trombolotto, tuna, a type of bread crumbs and bottarga. Also: it's possible to buy many of the ingredients directly at the restaurant or on-line. A highly recommended restaurant to try something different and new while at the same time re-discoverying the tradition of this beautiful town!Thanks for the wonderful review, we hope to see you soon in Sermoneta..ciao Fabio

Finding a good restaurant, especially when accompanying visitors from abroad, is not easy. This venue proved to be the correct choice, both for the quality of the food and for the courtesy and availability of the staff. It is family-friendly and situated in a delightful mountain town.The menu could possibly be considered a little limited by some, but the quality is excellent and service very good with an appropriate four- star rating. Of course the final bill must also be taken into consideration..... very fair! Perhaps I could suggest an English translation of the menu to help visitors from other nations, otherwise I can definitely recommend "La Pace" restaurant to visitors to this part of Italy.

Being there for a dinner with my family to celebrate a birthday. The restaurant offers in side or outside confortable place. Outside is a must during the summer. A concrete wood floor host you outside with tables placed around the perimeter of the square garden and table are protected by large umbrella for the sun or the humidity at the dinner. You can eat meat or fish plates all well prepared the cellar is provided with several good wine and we got bottles of 02 Wine produced by a local lazio cantina. I had fish served with julienne vegetables well presented and tasty.

Dropped in here randomly not knowing what to expect.The food tasted really good and was quite filling. We dined with pasta and appetizer. I really appreciate the huge portions. The pasta with swordfish and pasta with truffles and shrimp were all outstanding. It's really hard forget it. We come back here again. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.I'll recommend it to anyone passing through...keep in mind.
