Things to do in Coomera
Having tried Fish & Chip shops in our area that werenât up to scratch, we decided to try the Fish Depot at Pimpama. Very pleased we did! We had large portions of Sweet Lip with chips. Happily surprised! Will be back!
Great food, will visit again. If it is wheelchair accessible, I will bring a friend next time?...........................................................................................................

Pal's has both fresh and cooked seafood as well as providing a range of fish n' chips, fried rice, burgers and chicken satay's.(Pahl, her real name), gets her seafood super fresh from many of the local trawlers. We had ordered some Balmain bugs and prawns ready for Christmas. They had to be one of the sweetest and tastiest we have had in this region.Since then, this is where we have bought all our fish, other seafood and have stopped in for a fish and chips or seafood lunch. There is a big range of all types and styles of seafood here, all at good prices. For those stopping for a cooked lunch, there is a big variety of lunch/dinner packs available.Open 6 days a week from 10am, but it is closed on Monday's.
My partner and i have been ordering from Fins On The Junction fortnightly to monthly for around 10 months. The first handful of takeaway was honestly amazing! We order the snapper deals, well priced and always a beautiful generous peice of snapper with a side of chips (lots) and a drink. Beautifully cooked crispy on the outside and cooked perfectly in the middle.Unfortunately there also have been another handful of times where the fish is cooked horribly, undercooked batter or uncredibly overcooked peice of rubber tasting fish. The takeway shops can be very busy on most days so it really depends who the cook is. Fabtastic fish and chips when the right cook is working but all in all can be very average to horribly cooked fish when not. Chips are always fresh and great and staff are friendly ( I think the high school hired staff need more customer service training though)worth a visit

Our group of eight, incl. children, were treated like best friends. Away from all the fuss elsewhere, Shannons was a delightful surprise. It was a very quiet, wintry Thursday night, the waterside view was in darkness and the entrance-way could do with some sprucing up ... but our meals were in every case totally scrumptious. White table clothes and blue placemats set the scene for a feast, and we were NOT disappointed. Even the desserts were a rave! Well done, Chef!

Wow! What a find. This little restaurant is tucked away amongst the super yachts berthed at Coomera. The food was outstanding & beautifully presented. The staff were extremely helpful & we enjoyed everything we ordered. Thoroughly recommend this delightful restaurant. You will be very impressed!
