The fish was excellent and very reasonable for Contadoro. Two big whole fish dishes for 24 US. These were bigger and better than the ones we had at the restaurants just outside the real fish market in Panama City which were phenomenal. Follow the directions that someone has posted on TA - there are 3 fish signs that you willing see on the street : one says SUPER Centro, second says Restaurante, and the 3rd says Hostal Bar. It's right across the street from Air Panama. There is no written menu- use your Google translate to ask what's for dinner or lunch. We will be back tomorrow!!!
If judging on breakfast alone then this was very good. Nice fresh fruit, great french toast, good coffee and juice. A good omelette. With a beautiful ocean view. $12 a person for outside guests. Included if staying at the hotel which we were. Service also very good.Sadly not a good experience for dinner. We had to send back our fish as it was under cooked. Fish should flake but the cooked parts were tough and the centre was cold and still translucent. Fish was also a very small portion with a mound of rice. It didn't seem fresh either. The waiter did apologise and offered to cook 2 new plates but unfortunately we'd been put off...$23 a plate we expected much more. We just opted to share a Greek salad and an appetizer of spicy prawns. These were ok. Cost around $34 including 2 beers. Perhaps we caught them on a bad night?

This restaurant has few food options and in all is average. The view of the beach is great, but not the food.

$20 for rice noodles and a couple veggies?!Very expensive! We came here for lunch and I asked the server if there were any veggies options since the entire menu had meat. The chef offered me rice noodles with some vegetables. Sounded great and I was happy that the chef would be flexible and offer this veggie option. When the bill comes my dish was the more expensive dish on it with $20! Be warned the entire menu was above $17 for lunch. For desert we paid $8 for a tiny portion of coconut flan. I understand the prices in touristy areas can be pricey but for noodles and a couple of baby veggies - an offer from the chef - the price is way too high. In addition the taste was nothing to write home about and the carrots were undercooked. I felt taken advantage of and it left a really sower taste. We also asked a local and they confirmed it was way to expensive for this type of dish.Never coming again and recommend eating somewhere else where the food is much tastier and better prices.

after 2 years iam taking back the Restaurant, opening again from february 10th under by the owner gerald, we will have seafood, italien and german specialities
We dined at Geraldâs for 6 days where we ate all of our breakfasts and dinners. The restaurant bar area is covered for shade with gardens. Beef, chicken and seafood dishes are served. We had vegetable omelets with toast for breakfast and salads with dinner. Self serve coffee is set out each morning.

Got the lobster tails for two here, thinking that it might be enough and I couldn't finish it. Maybe I have been spoiled, but I honestly didn't care for the flavor of the lobster here. The staff were very kind and helpful and Theo (the dog) is super cute.
