Discover Restaurants offering the best Seafood food in Commerce Township, Michigan, United States. Commerce Township, officially the Charter Township of Commerce, is a charter township of Oakland County, and suburb of Detroit, located in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 40,186 at the 2010 census. The terrain is rolling hills with large expanses of flat farmland and suburban development. The Huron River runs mostly north-south through the township. Commerce was formerly a weekend and summer resort for Detroiters because of the area's small inland lakes and peaceful seclusion, but due to recent development the cottages are now all permanent homes. There has been a sharp increase in population in the last few years, mostly on or near the several lakes and golf courses. Much of Proud Lake State Recreation Area is within the township. The northern terminus of M-5 is in Commerce. The busy highway would have continued north to Interstate 75, but because of the area's high property value and the many lakes that dot the landscape such a project would have been far too costly.

This was my first time visit to Steve & Rocky's. I was at a conference near by, and didn't want to make the 30 mile trip back home during rush hour. My conference colleague and myself decided to have dinner here, as we saw it was a highly rated restaurant in Novi (Number 2 out of 170). We were not disappointed. As soon as we were seated, our server, Amanda, came over, introduced herself and was ready to take our drink order. Being first timers, we asked for some water to start, as we were looked over their extensive wine list. After we decided on our drinks, we than ordered the soup My friend ordered the mushroom soup, and I orded the soup of the day, which was Gazpacho! Both of the soups were very delicious My friend said that her Mushroom soup was one of the best tasting soups she has ever had. For Dinner, I ordered the Chicken Cordon Blue and my friend ordered the Spinach Summer Salad with Chicken. Again, both dinners were excellent. My Chicken Cordon Blue, had a fried egg on top of it. Though I have never had it that way, it was absolutely delicious. For dessert we ordered the Crème Brulee. Again, through all parts of our meal, Amanda kept checking back throughout the evening, asking us how everything was tasting, and if we needed our wines refilled. We had a very enjoyable relaxing evening, and were very glad that we stopped here instead of fighting the rush hour traffic to get back to our side of town. As we were leaving, it started raining very hard! The hostess offered an umbrella that I could use, so that I could bring up the car to the covered entrance that way my friend wouldn't get wet running to the car with me! I have been to other restaurants and have not been offered to use an umbrella!! The service here is absolutely the best!! We both said that we would be back for dinner, and it wouldn't take a conference to get us to come back to Steve and Rocky's!!!!

The Tuesday night 3-course dinner features a number of entree choices, all of which are winners. Had dinner with friends, two of us ordering the salmon & two the lobster tail. Every course was delicious & several of us took home leftovers. Couple that with the Happy Hour pricing throughout the restaurant and this was the perfect way to start off the holiday weekend!

Excellent food, great service and great price. We've learned from our travels to various countries that the best places for great food are those the locals frequent. And Riki Sushi is that type of place. Whenever we been there, there are always Japanese eating or picking up orders. The chef is from India but lived in Japan and has a degree from a Tokyo culinary school. Thus the food is well prepared with a knowledge of how to fix food without sacrificing authentic Japanese style. Highly recommend the shrimp tempura and spicy sushi rolls.
