Nikkei food restaurant
MAIDO! That's how you'll be greeted once you step into the restaurant. A big welcoming team...ready to wow you! Maido is a humble restaurant despite it's Michelin stars and several awards. The food has a purpose, a clean vision and knows it's superb roots. The team knows and passionate about their work and they will explain each dish with respect that the dish deserve. Some dishes are more complicated than others but remember elevating simple dishes are harder since there is nowhere to hide; on the contrary Maido's dishes are proud be seen and tasted. You're already in Peru, do yourself a favor and experience Maido...

Qincha Bar is a new concept of Bar, resto & art in front of the sea. This combination matches perfectly the waves, sea breeze, author's cocktails, contemporary peruvian cuisine and good music all in the same place.
Amazing atmosphere with great view of the ocean, colorful and full of details that make you live a true peruvian experience: the materials, the textures and architecture make a difference. The attention is suberb and the food is out of this world. Five stars all the way.

Legendary cevicheria, football sanctuary in the heart of Barranco, familiar spot, delicaies factory, unforgeatable feasts and eternal toasts scenary. Much more than a cevocheria, a place of pilgrimage in the most bohemian neighbourhood of Lima.
If you are a foreigner, you come to Lima knowing that it is a culinary capital. A well deserved label. You will also know that there are restaurants here that flaunt major reputations and even larger bills. If you want to escape all that, this is a must visit, breath of fresh and original air. This little restaurant is a gem--its like entering a time warp into Lima past. But more than an honest and real place, the food here is terrific. Perhaps the best ceviche that I have had in the city--be prepared for a goodly dose of chili and plenty of onion. The fried calamari is to die for as well. Be aware that if you arrive in the middle of lunch or dinner time, it is likely to be full, full, full to the brim and you will have to wait and it will be noisy--do yourself a favor and arrive early for lunch or dinner. And use the time you gained for a walk around Barranco!

This simple restaurant in a very out of the way corner of Lima serves some of the best Cebiche in Lima. It is a local, in what would be considered a working class area, and many taxi drivers might not know how to get there. But the food and the price make it worth getting to.

I went with my in laws, & we had great traditional peruvian seafood at a good price. We had ceviche de pescado, jalea mixto, causa de cangrejo & Tacutacu de mariscos. All excellent & fresh, with big servings that we couldn't finish. It's off the beaten path for tourists but worth the trip.

Located in the traditional district of Barranco, Amoramar is installed in a republican house with a minimalist and contemporary patio; offering its clients dishes from today, along with classics from always. In Amoramar, enjoy lunch in the shadows of the
Everything was delicious. Started with a small serving of pork belly with carrots and zucchini, on the house snack that was served before we ordered. For starter, we had The Ceviche Nikkei and the Ajillo Oriental, they were so delicious. Their Pisco Sour was amazing!!! The tenderloin steak over baby patatoes and baby corn were so tender and delish. The fried rice with shrimp... everything was just flavorful and satisfying. Little bites of cookies and brownies were served with coffee. I highly recommend this restaurant. A reservation is recommended, being that the location is not someone you will easily stumble into. The ambiance is just as amazing as the food.

Nondescript street, no sign identifying a restaurant but a fishing boat up on the sidewalk. Serving hours 11 a.m to 5 p.m. Knock on brown door to the left of the boat. Delicious sea food priced from about 30 soles to over 100 soles. Grande Pilsen cervesa 16 soles. Certainly a unique experience.
