Reviews on Seafood food in Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas, Caribbean. The largest city in the U.S. Virgin Islands is a popular shopping center, home to 20,000 people, upscale shops, ecotours and underwater safaris. This former haunt of pirate ships now hosts millions of cruise passengers every year. Look beyond the boutiques and discover historic sights such as the bright red, 17th-century Fort Christian, the graceful green Legislature Building, the 1793 brick Lutheran Church and the taxing 99 steps stairway. Charlotte Amalie is easy to explore on foot.

Conveniently located within the Bunker Hill Hotel, Sugarcane Grille has been delighting hotel guests and St. Thomas tourists with our delicious, authentic Caribbean and Island cuisine since 2014. A hidden gem a little off the beaten path, we're a delightf
Stayed a night in the Bunker Hill Hotel. This is their restaurant. Dinner the first night and brakfast the next morning. Breakfast to order (with some limitations) comes with your room. Great happy hour beginning at 5:30. Good drinks and a wonderful bar teneder. She is a local who lived for many years in MD and has retunred to St Thomas. Dinner that evening on their roof top deck was very good and very reasonably priced. This is not in the nicest neighborhood nor the Hilton or Frenchman's Reef. We were here for one night beofre getting on an 1100 ferry for Tortola. Was everything we wanted. One of the party has staeyd here for years when he comes down to sail. They greeted him like family. Truly "island quaint".

New Orleans inspired restaurant, with cajun style dishes. Located in the heart of FrenchTown. We serve Lunch, dinner and have a late night menu until 2am.
We went for lunch on our way to the airport. The chicken and andouille gumbo was delicious. The muffuletta was a New Orleans styled treat with a terrific olive salad. Our only regret is that we didnât find a way to get here for dinner on our vacation. Our server, Robert, was a perfect host and made sure we got a look at the dinner menu. Weâll be back here on the next trip to St Thomas.

View is great, service is fine, but the food is nothing special, and no locals seem to eat there. Happy hour but one get one is decent, but the regular priced drinks are quite expensive. To say locals don't eat here is a false statement. Locals eat here daily at night and to go food. Currently we are on slow season, on island and half of our customers are locals. They mostly dine on the weekends, when they are off work. If you search around other Restaurant on island, you will find our prices are a lot more reasonable. Thanks for you input.

So our first night on the Island after a long day of travel we decided to stop here. What a great choice the price was reasonable and the food was fresh. I had the yellow snapper encrusted with almonds it was to die for. The Cajun mahi-mahi was an excellent choice as well. This place is a must see. A little difficult to get GPS is very confusing but donât give up. We had to ask a local.

My wife and I make a point of having dinner at Mafolie whenever we're on St Thomas. It's always very good and the view overlooking Charlotte Amalie is excellent! We've had a number of dishes during our various visits. Among the best was the snapper almandine.

Hands down the best steak dinner on the island, Nick (the chef) handcuts and trims all the steaks, seasons and grills them to perfection. I had the tenderloin and sides, with the blue cheese butter it just melted in my mouth, Betty had the grilled Mahi-mahi and sides, I thought she was going to lick the plate clean. Love the honor system bar, basically make your own drinks the way you like them. The wait staff was super, helpful and attentive throughout the evening. They also have a chicken dish and usually a vegetarian choice also, that night it was a mushroom and veggie risotto. The homemade Keylime pie was perfection. Open only Wednesday to Saturday with one seating only of about 40 people so reservations are a must. Parking can be challenging so a taxi may be a good option. Plus theyâve got a view to live for.

Oceana Restaurant & Bistro is OPEN! A landmark & destination restaurant on St Thomas since 2002, completely rebuilt and recently reopened after the devastation caused by hurricanes Irma & Maria in 2017 - our Bistro opened in Oct 2019 and the renown Oceana
Make a reservation like NOW - don't wait. This restaurant is the brainchild of Patricia LaCorte long time island resident and restauranteur and brilliant in everyway. Located way out on the point in French town this is most certainly one of the top restaurants on the island. She has several others in her porfolio but i won't ruin the surprise. You'll find out soon enough and you'll be hooked wanting to try them all - each with a unique flair and menu. Sometimes i wonder if she ever sleeps. Eat there once and you'll know why.

Amalia Cafe is a delightful open air Spanish themed restaurant in historic downtown Palm Passage, Charlotte Amalie. The menu is heavy on tapas, with favorite Spanish entrees like Paella or Zarzuela. Enjoy a taste of Spain in the Caribbean.
What a find!! Itâs official, Amalia Cafe has the absolute best Ribeye (w/ Rosemary Butter Whiskey Reduction) Iâve ever had anywhere! Even from my own grill. We will not forget Cara either. Thank you Cara for the great information and experience!! Patti and I have even another reason to return to St. Thomas. Unforgettable!!

We were disappointed we had to take a taxi as water too high from resort in the evening. Food was good, nice view on water but would recommend going during the day for the view. Food wasnât exceptional but good.Good Morning CJWe appreciate your comments and will discuss them with the staff at Shoreline as we continuously try to improve our service. Thank you.
