It was awesome to have dinner in this historical place. Las Bovedas were built as part of a fortress in the XVIII century and wereused during the colonial era as dungeons, storage vaults and dorms. Inside the restaurant the setting is beautiful. Service was very good, we were attended by a very helpful and friendly panamanian lady (Ana C.) We ordered house wine, salmon carpaccio, beef bourguignon, and a duet of salmon fillet and tuna steak with veggies. Everything was delicious. I loved the salmon fillet! The beef bourguignon was delicious too. The salmon carpaccio had a little bit too much lemon (if the chef gets to read this). It's a bit more expensive than other restaurants in the area, but you're eating in a historical place and you're getting quality ingredients.

Very good Italian restaurant on the Plaza Cathedral. One of the few real Italian menus in the Old City. Good Caesar salad with grilled chicken. Excellent pasta and veal dish. Mediocre house red wine. Moderate to higher prices but not *expensive*.

I've had the privilege of eating at many peruvian restaurants. I do not eat meat but boy, do I love fish. And nobody makes ceviche like peruvians! Dr. Limon not only has amazing ceviche but every dish in their menu is out of this world. Maybe only in Lima you can taste a more authentic example of Peruvian flavor.

they are in the Casco Antiguo of Panama and they are in facebook as , very nice informal place, to meet people!!! I love It!!!
Went to Aromas twice during my 3-stay in Panama City recently and am dying to go back. The food is so amazing it's hard to believe the chef is only in his 20s, and the owner is incredibly nice and helpful; even recommending other great restaurants in the city. Definitely try the sangria, ceviche, and pretty much anything else on the menu.

We dined here one evening while in Panama last week and it was fabulous! It was in a quiet area and we felt very welcome to have our 7 year old son with us, too! I had the skirt steak, our waiter's favorite (I must say I was a little nervous about getting the waiter's favorite dish...which also happened to be the most expensive dish on the menu...BUT it was SO good!) My son loved his gnocchi but was stealing steak from my plate because it was so delicious! My husband loved his meal as well. They were very patient with us since our Spanish isn't great so we really appreciated that! Please go here when you visit Panama City, you won't regret it!
