Things to do in Celorio

The food looked delicious, but we waited for 1 hour; the waiter didn't notice us, didn't even ask if we needed drinks or bread, which was very inconsiderate given that there were obviously hungry children with us. We simply left. Wouldn't recommend a restaurant with this kind of service to anyone.

We visited this restaurant when on a recent tour of N Spain. It is superbly positioned overlooking a sandy beach. The tables are perched on a terrace. We had to sit in the alleyway on the approach to this though because they were all reserved. The food was fine once it arrived but we had to wait ages for a very simple order.A plate of cheese and bread and a few fried baby squid plus 2 drinks. Not complicated !The table of 2 locals who arrived about 10 mins after us were served all kinds of fantastic dishes long before we even had a sniff of our cheese ! What a mistake. You shouldn't treat people like this.To add insult to injury we were charged extra for the bread to eat with our cheese ! You wouldn't want cheese on its own would you ?If you are a tourist go elsewhere unless you have all day to waste waiting.

Hotel recommendation as being very good. Ordered prawns for starters -- OK, but main dishes of Veal Escalopes (good) but the Veal Entrecote was undercooked and untrimmed - parts inedible and not able to cut with sharp knife. Indifferent service and management not interested in the complaint. Left early and disappointed. Hotel were shocked!!!

A bit snooty. We were obvious tourists and that's how we were treated. Absolutely no attempt to help us with our menu choices. It was busy so they didn't need to bother I suppose.

The Casa Del Mar (or the Blue Tent) is a great and lively place to share some seafood. The atmosphere is fun and friendly. They have a great menu including some local delicacies like Navajas (razor clams) and Percebes (goose foot barnacles). It's always busy, and the service is great.

This is not only a really great restaurant with very friendly staff, but also very easy on the wallet.A â¬13.50 menu, including 3 courses and a bottle of very good wine, with food that would make many top chefs jealous - you can't go wrong!Highly recommended

Restaurant sits on top of (for a better word) the fish mart, (Lonja del pescado ) in the port of Llanes; this is where the fishing boats bring their daily catch which are auctioned among the authoritized members of the mart.It is a modern, airy, clean looking bar and restaurant with the freshest fish, shellfish and seafood. The waiters are very knowledgeable about the daily catch offer and suggest the most appropriate preparation for each variety of fish and seafood. The bar offers a good selection of tapas, both hot and cold. The place is always very busy and reservations are a must.
