This restaurant doesn't have menus- the chef comes out at tells you what they have in the kitchen that day. It was quite fun to see such a small place that is run so well. The food was absolutely delicious. The bathroom is a bit run down and the room could use some updates. But it was very charming to sit in an older restaurant where it was clear that the owners are all about the food.

Stopped off here for lunch and what s good idea it was. Very modern and clean, quite busy with a varied menu. We ordered pasta and pizza and was all very good. We will be back probably in the evening next time Grazie mille.B Cucina e Pizza

Restaurant Trattoria Il Cedrino is also a pizzeria with a wood stove in Cecina , in the province of Livorno . Our kitchen offers traditional dishes with full menus with fish and meat . Cedrino is the ideal destination for lovers of good taste and original
We ate at Il Cedrino last June, and the food was excellent. There were 4 adults & 2 children, everyone with a different order. Everyone enjoyed their dishes. We also had some different appetizes, The mussels were fantastic. The service was great, even though we had limited knowledge of the Italian language. The servers did their best to make sure we understood what we had ordered.

We enjoyed in this nice restaurant great fish, very originally prepared and presented. From the bread to the end of the meal all was of high quality, fresh and well made. I only regret the hosts have an obvious bias towards regulars and we, as tourists, didn't at all feel welcomed or treated the same way. Pity, it would have been great otherwise.

Well known since 1984, it is the good place to taste italian fish cuisine, traditional tuscan recipes and good meats. The wine cellar follows the commitment to excellence with Bolgheri and Tuscany wines, Champagnes and sparkling Wines, and a good selection
We noted this restaurant because of its mention in the Michelin Guide. We drove to Cecina, parked in a nearby street and walked in on a Sunday lunchtime hoping for a table without a booking. We were lucky - this restaurant should have been full, but it was not and we were given a table. We were greeted by the proprietor and his wife was our chef and also came out to our table to take our order, answer questions and check all was fine. What a lovely welcome! We tasted delicious antipasti, primi and secondi - all fish and seafood and all beautifully cooked and presented. I enjoyed two dishes with fresh truffles, which felt like a real treat! There was raw seafood as well as cooked. The cooking was confident and I felt I would gladly eat anything prepared by this kitchen. We even managed dessert and, upon choosing a homemade green apple sorbet, I was offered the option to have this with calvados and it was a delicious pairing I had not tried before. We ate with our children who were very much welcomed. We enjoyed our meal so much we returned just two days later to eat there again. Our bills came to around £130 and £150, which included a bottle of house wine on each visit, several bottles of water and also coffees. I felt this restaurant deserves recognition and many customers - we loved it and would happily return.Thank you for these wonderful worlds we are happy to read your appreciation for food and accommodation. We hope you'llcome again Arrivederci dalla Toscana!Gianluca e Rossella

This small restaurant with a Japanese cook Kazuyo and her Italian husband Simone, an oenologist, offers an excellent mix of the best products out of two culinary traditions. Fish and crustaceans, caught in the morning, are served the very day. We go there quite often since several years and we were always extremely satisfied. The choice of the wine, we can leave it with confidence to Simone. His selection exceeds the borders of Tuscany.

Style restaurant in the heart of Marina di Cecina . "live Cooking" with specialities prepared in front of the customer and tasty pizzas . Careful selection of cocktails and unplugged live music shows.
We stayed at Hotel Tornese for one night and decided to have the welcome drinks at the reception bar, located in the Caffè dei Fiori. Then we took a look at the menu and decided to give it a try as the proposed dishes sounded great and the price seemed legit. So, we ordered a pizza made in the Napoli'style, and it was absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked and the dough was so crispy and well raised, the toppings were also very fresh! We also had a big salad with super fresh ingredients, accompanied by a crispy focaccina, excellent! My partner had Baccalà , and he was so delighted, and to complete it all I had a fab millfeulle, OMG!Pity we live 2.5 hrs away or this would definitely be our fave resto!PS They said they have ongoing live music sessions throughout the year, which would be great to attend!

This was truly terrible. It is such a great location and we were so disappointed as unfortunately that is all it is. The female waitress was so rude in a non verbal way. She threw our food at us and one main came 20 mins after the rest!! The dirty cutlery had dried food on it and we just got a rude stare and no apology when we asked for another set. There was only one other table there when we arrived so they don't even have the excuse of being busy!! The male waiter was more pleasant. The food was ok tho nothing to rave about but then again the service made everything taste sour. My mussels were stone cold. We had to ask for some bread more than once. We escaped as quickly as we could not really wanting to pay but not having a material reason not to. Maybe they had their poorest staff all in on 11 July 2017 evening? Or maybe they don't like Scottish tourists. Who knows. Sorry but Walk on by it's not worth a visit. Really really poor experience and totally spoilt our evening.
