The Waterfront, a contemporary pub and restaurant in a fantastic setting right on the waters edge with stunning views across Plymouth Sound - probably the best views of any drinking/dining venue in Plymouth. Newly re-opened (March 2015) a stunning refurbi
Birthday meal for my husband the booking was efficient. The restaurant is large but lacked atmosphere. The food was well presented but no specials available because it was a Monday night the food was acceptable but nothing special and over priced.Dear PlymouthSarjo - we are sorry that you didn't enjoy visiting the lovely Waterfront - we guess a big clue to the wow factor is the name of our venue which probably well and truly understates the wow factor generated by our amazing location on the waters edge - a world class view by anyone's standards. We are sorry you felt our pub, we are not a restaurant, lacked atmosphere but as it was a Monday night it would have been quieter than at a weekend, We are sorry that our lovely menu didn't hit the mark for you but thank you for trying us.With regardsThe Waterfront team

A small family run bistro, offering over 50 wines sold by the glass, carafe or bottle. All food is cooked to order, so we're not a place to visit if you're in a rush (unless you pre-order), but a great place to relax and enjoy fresh local produce. Primari

At the Harbour we cater for all customers. Whether you are with the children or in a large group. We specialise in fresh seafood landed meters away from the restaurant. We also have prime fillet and ribeye steaks to go with your seafood. Lobster and crab
The Harbour Seafood restaurant is situated on the quayside in the Barbican and is around a mile and a quarter away from Plymouth station on foot.I had the seafood chowder to start which was decent and quite filling.I had seen glowing reviews about the monkfish curry and thus was quite disappointed to find mine to be very watery and somewhat unpleasant. It was also served with regular white rather than naan style bread. On the plus side, our bottle of Picpoul De Pinet was very good and excellent value at £17.50 per bottle.Service was good and the bill for three was around £85.Hello guys,I'm sorry to see you did not enjoy the monkfish curry, it is usually one of our favourites on our winter menu!Although thank you for your positive comments on the rest of your experience.Kind regards,Harbour management

We always come here for fish and chips when visiting family in Millbrook. Always cooked to orde and massive portions. The cod is huge and enough for two of us to share. This is our favorite fish and chips in the UK.

Located on the beach at Cawsand with stunning sea views The Bay bar and restaurant is a new venue open daily serving coffee, cake and pastries from 10AM with the main menu and daily specials served from 12PM until 9PM. Drinks including 3 real ales and our
My review is both good and bad. Heard a lot of different reviews about this new place so thought we would try for ourselves. The setting is beautiful and the restaurant is cosy but still private. The staff were an odd bunch of people which clearly arenât trained to the standard that the restaurants prices want to attract. Front of house was scruffy and the bar man unhelpful and uninterested. Food was excellent apart from the most expensive dish on the menu the steak. Poor cut of meat which should never have been served. Looked more like a pork steak beige looking and very sad. Returned to chefs and ordered the pork trio which was outstanding. Our waitress Erin was the most capable and attentive member of staff in the restaurant and dealt with our complaint with professionalism. The restaurant need more staff like Erin and it wouldâve been a much more enjoyable evening.

We ordered a big portion of cod and a big portion of cod and chips. The pieces of fish were enormous, nicely battered and really tasty. The chips were good too. One portion was enough for 2. It was very quiet in the late afternoon. We didn't have to wait long and the meal was served piping hot. The only negative thing was the dirty floor.

There are a few fast food eat in and out food places in Plymouth some of which have a modest cult status in the city either because of their prominent and convenient position or because of a consistent reputation. West Hoe Fryers has such a reputation for
Nothing like a great fish and chip shop. This is one of them. Never had a bad meal here - and the staff are always friendly and polite. In fact, we go out of our way to come here as the food is so consistently good! Best in Plymouth.Definitely one to try, if you haven't!
