We have now visited villagio dei Turchesi for several years and apart from the top infrastructure, the restaurant Le Terrazze is the beating hart of the villagio. The food is excellent and you really get great value for money. Additionally the restaurant owner and staff know exactly how to please the sometimes demanding customers. Le terraze really takes this holiday village to a higher level! We canât wait to go back and enjoy the food and wine and moreover the great company of the staff.

"BEAUTIFUL" from the greek KALE ' It is on the ideology of absolute beauty of the Greek artistic-cultural canons, we founded the bases of our beach. A refined and elegant location, with architecture, immersed in the Mediterranean scrub, which recalls the
Ci siamo recati in 11 sabato 24.

The Lido Trocadero located in Castellaneta Marina, was founded in 1994 thanks to the work and passion of the family Sisto, entirely family-run, an ideal meeting place for children and families. An evocative setting close to the sea, created to satisfy our
we had dinner 3 times in 10 days. nice view on the sea. I recommend you the "cozze" as antipasti. so good. not easy because of the language (we don't speak Italian) but food is simple and good.

I rather get the impression that if you're a Palagianellian, then this is the in place to be seen in.Very smart and modern restaurant which looks both clean and orderly, with tables laid attractively whilst being well spaced to avoid crowding. There's an added bonus of a large, and equally appealing, terrace at the front of the restaurant. Everything looks great, and would grace the culinary portfolio of any town.We visited early on a Saturday evening, and things hadn't really got going although there were plenty of staff on standby. Possibly some were brought in for the weekend rush, we thought, as our friendly young waiter carefully poured a carafe of wine over our tablecloth. His next job was to gesticulate at the waitress fast approaching the table with our starters in order to get her to u-turn back to the kitchen for the mortadella which should have been atop our plates of bruschetta, cheese and tomato. Not long after, the main course arrived; sliced pieces of roast pork wrapped round bacon fat resting on a bed of bed of spinach and accompanied by some very al dente (i.e. cold and barely cooked) grilled vegetables. Interesting, naturally salty and not something I'd ever choose again.Having finished, we then experienced a total power cut for 30 minutes. Many readers can probably form a mental picture of a roomful of italians in a power cut - you'd be right! Eventually candles came out and the staff generally wandered round whilst we had a tableful of fast-congealing plates to look at. Eventually, I got our previously forgetful and somewhat dreamy waitress to deal with it.Happily, our dessert of caramel cheesecake was sublime. The Strega has a large pizza menu and does takeaways too. So during the evening, in this lovely restaurant, there was a queue of customers, many of whom looked like they had been digging the garden or mending their car, happily snaking around the room waiting patiently for their pizza order to arrive. So it was an interesting evening. However, it is a truly pleasant place so we went back a few days later. Unlike previously, we went outside on the terrace and got a table with a good view of the whole restaurant inside and out. Our waiter was a little taciturn but very professional and poured our bottle of wine, from a comprehensive wine list, perfectly. Like so many of the locals, we thought we'd try a pizza from the Strega's enormous and creative menu - again, all fine with dough not too thin and plenty of meaty topping. Couldn't resist another go at the caramel cheesecake whilst Mrs EPR tried the tiramisu. Both excellent.Locals love this place, and it's easy to see why. It's certainly got character.

Via trip advisor found this restaurant and we were pleasantly surprised by the very good fish. But our companions had both a steak which was also really good. The English speaking lady was very helpful to translate the fully Italian menu. Greetings from Holland!!!
