I've only eaten here once, but I'd come again. It's kind of in a neighborhood in Stimigliano Scalo, right off the A1 autostrade and reasonably near the local, small train station. They serve pizza and seafood as their specialties. Our group got some of both. People who liked very, very thin crust pizza loved it. I had their friend calamari and shrimp, and they were the best I've had in Italy (I've been around Italy quite a bit, too). The shrimp were particularly sweet and tasty. The service was reasonable, kind of standard for the area. They use a small hand held computer, but that didn't seem to help the speed or efficiency. Those who ordered multiple items took forever to get them. While we were there, a house caught on fire next door, which offered a lot of concern. But it got put out reasonably quickly and no one was hurt. It took the vigili 20 minutes to get there. That might have contributed to the slowness of the meal.

Very good food in a charming restaurant set in the cellars of a castle. Beautiful views of the Sabina Hillside, with the possibility to eat outside or inside. Well worth a visit.

Nice meal...although my husband wasn't so impressed with the straccetti alla gorgonzola..the 3 of us who ate fish based dishes were happy with them..the risotto alla scampi was good..and it was interesting to hear the comments of other diners complimenting the food too. The atmosphere was very pleasant..sitting outside..drinking a nice white wine (Vermentino) and chatting. The service was also good and the young waiter helpful. Would definitely go back there.

A quaint restaurant specializes in seafood and offers quality and courtesy since 1998.
We were influenced by the reviews. Not one of the 5 of us would agree with them. The interior is brightly lit. There is a big television on. The place was pretty quiet apart from the tv.There is no menu, how interesting we thought. But that means you cannot see the price. We were charged â¬7.50 for a basket of bread which we had a couple of pieces from. The bill was much larger than any other restaurant we tried. All of them had at least as good food, or better. The reason for the absent menu may lie in that. One of our number didn't have a main course, which made the high price more surprising Wine was expensive, from a tap. Bottled beer likewise (but in fact also available at â¬1.10 in the supermarket near by). May be an unfair point to make but it was a point of comparison given the anonymous nature of the wine. The food in fairness was good although not excellent. One of the vegetable dishes was mediocre. Portions were not large, and in one or two cases small. And this final point: the 20% off for online booking is illusory. The restaurant rejected the booking via the fork after it had been confirmed, we discovered. It certainly could not have been because they were busy.We have hesitated about this review: the food was good, but on reflection, people like ourselves who were making a choice between the various local restaurants feel that others should have available our experience in making their decision before choosing this restaurant.Grazie mille per la recensione, il problema non è stato il mangiare ma bensì il prezzo, tra l'altro onestissimo.
In a warm environment and welcoming, the restaurant " La Casina nel Parco", offers fresh products, presenting them in simple preparations and tasty. The Casina nel Parco is certainly the ideal location for excursions and for romantic dinner by candle light
Consigliatissimo

We love this place. Just outside Rieti close to Contigliano and the sanctuaries of St. Francis of Assisi. The owners are lovely, considerate - they want to ensure the most pleasant dining experience for you. Elegant ambiance & structure. Service impeccable. Restaurant gets especially booked up at weekends & holidays. There isn't a view a such but the setting is very pleasant and tranquil.Cuisine is typical of Lazio and especially typical of the province of Rieti but prepared creatively. Menu is only in Italian and staff don't really speak English but everything is so good here whatever you choose will be delicious! Always been satisfied with the wines too and our favourite dessert here is the port mulled fruit inside a caramelized suagr basket - large enough for 2 people to share, in our opinion! We were here in Sept 2012 (evening dinner) and again in Dec 2012 (lunch) - all nicely decorated ready for Christmas. There is a small bar area where you can try the local grappa after your meal. Definitely returning!

I've been to this place many times, both for lunch and dinner. Before it came into being last year, I also went to the earlier version of it, Terzo Cerchio. It's chief glories are its location (on the SS313) and that it can handle very large groups. It serves both pasta and pizza, and the latter is what most people go here for. It's reasonably priced, and they have a large menu. The pizza is pretty good, if not amazing. Some of their pasta, the alla amatriciana and the cinghiale are notably good. The fritti items have come cold in the center to us before--not very appealling. The service can be very slow, and getting a check at the end can be nearly impossible. They also have signs for credit cards, but don't take them. It is very family friendlyl and it even has a kids playground right by the dining area.

Riposo settimanale: LUNEDi
This restaurant had been recommended to us, but it was far better than we could have imagined. The tortiglioni allo scoglio were delicious, the fish taste had permeated right through the pasta. We wanted a "light" lunch so we only had a first course and dessert. When we said dessert, the waitress brought us some home-made friandises, and then came back a second and a third time with different desserts. And yet the lunch was so incredibly inexpensive. We sat in the beautiful garden, right next to the ancient church. I can't imagine a more relaxing and pleasant lunch.Dear Sir,Thank you very much for reviewing our restaurant. We are very glad to read your positive opinion. When our guests are satisfied, we are satisfied too!I wish to see you very soon.Regards from Italy.

Visited Peter Pan 3 times whilst on holiday in Poggio Mirteto. There's every pizza you can think of - around 200 in total, even dessert pizzas ! Lovely pasta dishes, too. Everything very tasty and in a lovely, friendly atmosphere. Very reasonably priced and nice wines. A couple of shots along with the owner when the bill is paid, too !

Located in the old kitchens of a noble palace, Le Cucine del Borgo offers the most spectacular view over the Tiber Valley. The Chef selects local products and ingredients using his fantasy and ability. Reservation recommended.
We loved our meal at Le Cucine del Borgo. It was enjoyable to speak with the new owners and hear about this couple's passion for the food, the history of the building and their love of the area. We had a delicious fish dinner and some excellent wine for a very reasonable price. We also ran across a pack of wild boar on the way back to our hotel! We are happy to have passed on our passion for food.Thank you for the reviewChristian & Alina
