We live near Brasserie Philipe and have eaten here 4 or 5 times. Never disappointed, always good food and good, reliable service. the French eat here in droves - look at the other reviews - nearly all French! A family establishment. The portions are generous - don't come here for nouvelle cuisine! the food is well cooked traditional home style cooking. At our last visit we had ficelle Picarde and smoked salmon to start and then for main I had a great steak and frites with pepper sauce and my wife had a ham and cheese omelette cooked to perfection. On the omelette, this was the first time she has been asked for the 'cuisson' on ordering! She said 'a point' and it was perfect, slightly runny in the middle! Stunning value. The whole meal including a half litre of excellent house rose and two coffees was â¬43.00!!

The taste of simplicity. It is with simple dishes made with ultra fresh fish landed every morning live fishing boats, that the cooks of Planet Ocean have decided to conquer and seduce their customers. Freshness is a good base, Ultra-cool is the top for he
I was here as part of a large School Party the Restaurant itself is on the first floor of a building next to the seafront which makes looking out of the windows worth it, the food was served on time and all at the same time which for 90 meals is Excellent the food itself was very good but for 90 meals cooked and served at the same time did reflect on the flavours but nothing which could have been avoided but given the opportunity to eat here again I would definitely come back here againMerci beaucoup pour votre avis , cordialementL'équipe de Planète Océan

Gastronomique French restaurant. The Chef Guy Delmotte the owner and his staff propose to you a nice inventive food about the wild fish from the local fish.
Outstanding in all respects: Ambience, decor, service, location, food and value for money! The restaurant is conveniently situated in the heart of Le Touquet town centre, right next door to the fabulous hotel Westminster. The fixed price early bird menu is great value and highly recommended, with plenty of variety, attentive service and delcious food, although some of the pricier à la carte dishes are conspicuous by their absence e.g. lobster. Still, an unbeatable combination rarely to be found in charming Le Touquet, especially during the busy summer holiday season!

Great location, atop the Fish Market. Locely seafaring decor with some beautiful model boats. Excellent and attentive personnel, always keeping an eye out for you. But the food.........very disappointing. Starters were fussy and overworked, too much sauce and too many frills - why not let the fish speak for itself. The mains were poor: a Bouillabaise was not authentic - it was just a bowl of their fish soup with a few pieces of overcooked white fish (of indeterminate taste) floating in it, a few old mussels, and some croutons that had been fried about a month ago that were hard enough to crack your teeth. A travesty of what this iconic dish really stands for. A 42-euro Main of 'Lobster and Turbot" was parsimonious in the lobster department, and the crustacean seemed to have been cooked a lot earlier. The place deserves better people in the kitchen.

A very good evening here during October half term with the family. The food was generally top quality... especially Les modules et frites which there were plenty of and which were packed with flavour. My steak wasn't the best cut of meat but again the flavour was good; rich and deep. A good range of local beers is available and the owner is good fun when describing them to you! Felt very welcome and well looked after despite my clumsy stuttering French!

Visited midweek, lunchtime, in October. We were there at midday and got the last table. Service was friendly and efficient. Food was good and portions generous to say the least, with a little treat to start. Possibly would need a microscope to find any fault the day we visited.
