Best cod I've ever had. Love the batter! Always get the stuffing and gravy on the fries. Gravy is vegetarian too! Most people probably don't realize. Nice homemade side salads. Wish they were open later though, so we could get there more often. Recommend calling and checking hours beforehand.

After reading reviews we figured would try this place. BIG MISTAKE..Ordered Halibut and Chips and Seafood Platter. The fish was the only thiing edible. Scallops were in a batter that was not cooked...slimy and wet..same with the shrimp. I brought it to the attention of the staff and cook...They just did a silly grin and said.."all done on tiimers...not our fault. They still had the nerve to charge full price. What a waste of $ 33.00 Any other reviews must be from family or friends. Definite disappointment

We had high hopes for this place, given the nice location and the bright, clean interior. But the fish and chips were poor, and at $18-plus for a single piece and fries was overpriced. The fish wasn't crispy and the batter wasn't completely done. The fries were obviously frozen from a package -- not great flavour or texture. I also hate sitting down at a restaurant and being handed packets of tartar sauce and small plastic containers of butter. The meal came with an ordinary slice of a bread and a thimble-full of mass produced coleslaw.

Stopped in for lunch at a friends suggestion, clean restaurant, friendly staff, prices were reasonable-fish was mediocre at best, got the regular batter not the light but my fish was literally hot mush in batterFries were ok -even the tarter sauce came in little packages -youâd think if fish and chips were their thing theyâd have better tarter sauceDidnât hate it but wouldnât recommend it highly As always try it for yourself and you be the judge
