On a free evening we opted to stop here for dinner. Food wise that was a very good choice. The place is very casual and not fancy at all. The food however was really good and the service as friendly and good. It is on the water with views. I would for sure recommend this for breakfast, lunch or a casual dinner.

We adventured to Lexington Park to catch a show at the Three Notch Theater, and used the opportunity to support a local business, Captain Pats. The location, while convenient, is not desirable, sits right on route 235. It was 4:45 when we arrived and the place was hopping. Be warned - it is small, and simply furnished. The patrons appeared to be exclusively locals, no Gucci bags or designer clothes in sight. What Pat's lacks in atmosphere is more than made up for by its employees and seafood. Many patrons seemed to be eating the crabs - and from the looks of the crustaceans - they were large, much larger than other all you can eat operations in the area. I ordered the broiled seafood platter, and a couple sides, baked potato and slaw - all were outstanding. The wait-staff and service was on point. The price for the food is possibly the best value for seafood in this southern Maryland. Be warned - there is a 4% up charge to use credit cards. All in all, we consider Pat's to be a gem, we're already planning our return.

Ordered fish and chips. Expected flakey, fried filets. Served pre-formed rectangular thin fish patties. Think of the "filet" of fish sandwich from McDonalds--- these patties were larger but tasted the same.If a restaurant is going make this kind of substitution with their fish and chips, it makes one wonder about other meals they offer. Will you receive what is described on the menu?

Visiting our daughter who is stationed at Patuxent River, we decided to try some local seafood and ended up at Clarkeâs Landing based off the reviews on Trip Advisor. We arrive around 5 pm on a Sunday. The place was not yet busy. There is inside dining, a bar, inside dining thatâs waterside, and outside dining. There was also entertainment outside when we were there. And thereâs dock space, so you can boat right up to the restaurant. Also, there seems to be plenty of parking. I canât really tell you about the food, only our experience, because, unfortunately, they were out of everything we wanted to order. The waitress told us they had a really busy weekend because it had been raining all week and they finally had nice weather over the weekend. First we tried to order the Broomeâs Island Crab Soup, but they were out. So we thought weâd try the Crab Chowder - out. We inquired about the Rockfish because weâve never had rockfish and were told âI think weâre out.â So, my husband decided to order the fish dinner. I ordered the salad with fried goat cheese. The waitress came back a few minutes later to tell us they are out of fish and cheese. We decided not to dine there. The waitress was very understanding and wouldnât even let us pay for the one Diet Coke we had ordered. However, our daughter had gone to the bar to order a beer. So, I went to the bar to tell her that we werenât going to stay and see if she had placed her order yet. She just placed the order but the bartender hadnât rang it up yet. I asked my daughter if she could cancel her order because they were out of basically everything and we werenât going to stay. She asked the bartender, who asked her why she wanted to cancel the order. Our daughter told her because youâre out of basically everything we wanted to order, so weâre not going to stay and eat. The bartender (female) told my daughter, âOh, itâs okay, you can just take it with you.â Then she proceeded to swipe my daughterâs credit card. I donât know the laws in Maryland, but I do know that you are not allowed to have an open container of beer in your car in Ohio. Itâs illegal. The bartender was very hesitant to issue a credit, but we finally convinced her that my daughter was not going to take an open container of alcohol into her car. Sorry I canât tell you about the food. And Iâm really sorry it wasnât a better experience. Itâs a great location and our waitress was friendly. I do think it was pretty expensive but that may be the norm for the area, I donât know. You can find their menu/pricing online.

Evan the grandkids liked our dinner at Kingfishers! They had a gentleman playing guitar and singing without overwhelming the room with volume. Wanted to sing along with him! Food was great. Had seared ahi for appetizer and it was good and plentiful. Between the five of us we had a variety of food and all said it was very good. Grandkids loved the shrimp and fries. Just wanted to give two thumbs up to this restaurant.

Charles Street Brasserie offers a unique waterfront dining experience, fusion of Mediterranean and Southern Maryland tapas and shared plates and catering services to the Solomons, MD area.
We really enjoyed the food here, as the tapas concept works well for trying out all of the great dishes offered on the menu. Our waitress's recommendations were spot on and we enjoyed everything. I'd definitely recommend the seafood items, they know what they are doing here. The one strange thing was the cocktails we ordered, as both seemed watered down or missing alcohol, so don't bother, the wine will definitely suffice and you can still enjoy the perfect ambiance and food.

The Dry Dock, is located in Solomons Island at the Zahniser's Yachting Center. Expect an intimate water view restaurant that caters to an upscale dining experience, specializing in steaks & seafood. We offer deck seating, weather permitting. Nightly speci
Had not so good experiences in the past. They seemed to depend on the waterfront location over the food or service. Was apprehensive about returning, but under new management, they've improved on all accounts. Creative menu options, well prepared. Small wine list but with good values. Note: $15 corkage option. Our server, Amanda, was outstanding. Professional, friendly, thoughtful, and engaging. She made us feel well cared for. Improvements to bar stools, lighting, outdoor tables, etc.

Beautiful Waterfront Restaurant, with great Quality Food and Drinks!
Stopped in for lunch. I ordered a fried oyster basket and my boyfriend ordered the grouper fingers. Both platters were very good. Our waitress was friendly and efficient. We loved looking out at the water while we ate. My only criticism is I think their price for beer is on the high side. I think $6.50 for a glass of Blue Moon draft is overpriced. Would definitely have lunch here again but we'll pass on the beer.

Ate lunch here on a Saturday. What we liked:1. Friendly, solicitous service from start to finish2. Impeccable food, beautifully garnished, fresh and a delight to the eyes and palate. We ordered two Bento boxes, and they were so lovely: crunchy, light tempura; fresh, flavorful sushi, perfectly done white rice, and a bunch of other things for which I don't have a Japanese name. It was all DELICIOUS.3. Lovely interior. Quiet, low lights, clean and nicely appointed.4. Price was not too high--about what you'd expect. For two lunches and one mixed bar drink the bill came to $30 before tax. What we didn't like:1. Ladies' room was clean but the towel rack was empty.
