The restaurant offers lovely view over Brisbane River and the staff was courteous enough. However, I was either exceptionally unlucky, or I must have very different standards to the hundreds of reviewers who enjoyed their visit to Blackbird. The first steak I ordered was so exceptionally salty that after a few attempts - during which I resorted to the already salty fries to bring the salt level down between bites - I had to return it. The second steak the kitchen prepared was fine in terms of not being overly salty (I think it wasn't salted at all but just carried residue salt from the cutting boards which was still plenty). Amazingly though, having ordered a medium rare ribeye, both steaks were well done. I'm not sure if the kitchen staff are to blame as both were very thin cuts, but either way, for a steakhouse not being able to season and cook a steak seems a pretty fundamental flaw.Hi Cornel, thank you for taking the time to let us know about your dining experience. We will be escalating this feedback onto the management staff so we can learn for this. Once again, thank you for letting us know.

Prior to our palm cove trip I had read many great reviews of this place so was keen to try.We were lucky to have some perfect weather to enjoy this beautiful location looking out to the ocean with a balmy night.Staff were very attentive and we quickly placed our order for the banana leaf fish topped with king prawns and the rendang curry. This meal was delicious, mouth watering flavour and generous serving size. The fish was cooked to perfection and well seasoned. The rendang was one of the better curries I have tastes outside of Indonesia with the meat melting in your mouth!Great food, flavour, location and service

Deliciously fresh, handmade Italian. New look menu with more dishes to try. Come in and meet Leo and his friendly staff for the best Italian experience in New Farm, Brisbane. We now have our liquor license with a range of wines, beers, spirits and cocktai
Traditional Italian restaurant in Brunswick Street Fortitude Valley/New Farm.Smallish venue with two separate dining areas. Typical basic Italian decor and seating.Menu choices as to be expected. Service was friendly. Food, on the night we dined, was average. The Owner/chef spoke very highly of his food but unfortunately we did not share his opinion. The restaurant is fully licensed but BYO wine is permitted however it is limited to one bottle and a charge of $15 is levied. The restaurant wine list is very limited and the quality of the wine offered is very poor eg Yellow Tail !There are many other Italian restaurants to choose from and unfortunately I must say I would not hurry back to this establishment.Hello Trevor, thank you so much for your feedback. Our BYO is currently $5 per person (we have had this price for quite a few months now). Could we ask you which day you were in so we can check what went wrong please? we value everyone's comments and would like to improve any point mentioned. We look forward to receiving your email [email protected]

Bringing the joy of casual med dining to The Pier in Cairns, welcome to Piato! Piato, named after the Italian word for "plate", has a "big emphasis" on entrees and sharing good food with good friends and family! Three well respected hospitality veterans h
Based on the great reviews and close proximity to our hotel, we popped in to Piato for dinner. Great location, atmosphere and service. Food was fresh and delicious. The octopus was cooked perfectly in the Greek tradition â nice and soft. Loved the arancini balls and sardines, but the stand-out dish for us was the prawn saganaki â fantastically tasty. Enjoyed a side of Mediterranean vegetables too.*Note that sitting under the ceiling fan was uncomfortably too cool for us on this particular night, but unfortunately there wasnât alternative seating available nor are the fans individually controlled.Dear GardengirlThank you so much for your review we are happy that you enjoyed the Piato experience. As for our fans these belong to the centre and are not individually controlled but you have given us food for thought to take it up with centre management.Kind RegardsElie

Located at picturesque Cairns, Marlin Marina. Fresh & Local seafood off the trawler. PRAWN STAR - PRAWNS- " A TASTE YOU'LL NEVER FORGET " !!
This is a fabulous experience for lovers of fresh seafood. My husband and I shared the 2 tier platter which really was enough for 3 people. BUT we did it justice! Couldn't fault anything on the platter - bugs, prawns, sushi salmon, oysters - no fillers like chips. The experience is enhanced by sharing a table with other travellers. Be sure to start a conversation and the response will add to the overall experience of dining here. We sat with 2 American attorneys. One from California, the other from Florida. A lovely Israeli couple and a young man from India. Don't miss this experience. It truly is special. Make sure you go well before 8pm or you might not get in...it's busy! It was located at Finger D of the pier when we dined in October.

We stayed for one night locally so looked for a restaurant within easy walking distance of our hotel. The Casa Nostra was only 400 metres away and we were impressed with the contents of the Trip Advisor reviews from other diners. We certainly made the right choice. The service was great, the ambience spot on and the food was excellent. I had the Linguini Gamberi and my wife had a risotto. Both were generous portions, full of flavour and freshly made. The only slight gripe is the price of wine. I think the cheapest bottle was $46 and our choice came in quite a bit higher. How about a more reasonable vino della casa? All in all a very good and seemingly popular restaurant. Weâd go back.

I ate here with 3 of my friends who were visiting and we all loved it. There is lots of flavour in the food yet we could still taste the actual seafood still and the service was good. I love the "fish list" they have; you pick one of 5 different kinds of fish then there is 5 different ways/flavours to choose how you would like it cooked. My friends were all happy woth their choices, I had the seafood paella and was also very happy.
