Reviews on Seafood food in Bolzano, Province of South Tyrol, Italy. The capital of Italy’s northernmost region of South Tyrol, Bolzano (Bozen in German) has only been Italian since World War I, and its character remains distinctly Germanic. At the center of the town, Piazza Walther is named for a 13th-century German minstrel. The town’s most famous resident, Ötzi the Iceman, dates from about 3300 BC and now rests at the South Tyrol Museum of Archaeology. The striking new building for Museion, the city’s modern and contemporary art museum, opened in 2008.

I ordered the second most expensive dish on the menu which was supposed to come with salad and potatoes. It came with three lettuce leaves. When I politely questioned the manager about the bill, he ran off and very childishly came back and threw down a dish of potatoes in front of me! If that is the way he treats his customers, he needs to take some lessons in customer service.

Il Tinello was recommended by our hotel when we requested somewhere to eat good pasta, good Italian food - we were not disappointed just wish we had eaten here every night. Location off the beaten tourist path - 5mins from Walther Plaza easy to findfood absolutely dlelicious & service excellent .. friendly , happy, attentive, not rushed We choose from the 'daily menu' - starter of the most mouth watering baked Artichoke w. grilled cheese & ham served on the freshest little salad. Followed by 'hand made ' fresh Pasta with pine nut pesto. .exquisite my husband had, pasta with Beef rage equally delicious .. choose1/2 ltr of regional red wine decanted from the bottle at the table 10/10 ..we even had dessert !!! Creme Brûlée -YUM A truely memorable last night in magical Bolzano and as we walked back to the hotel it started to snow - PerfectHighly recommend Il Tinello - I am a fussy picky eater often find menu choices challenging, but here I was spoilt for choice.Enjoy

Place is very nice and famous, but the meat dishes we ordered were not special. Meat was not the good quality so we left half of it. Other two friends ordered Salat as first dish and it was huge. As second, they ordered pizza with realy good dough and baked very good. But mushrooms, ham and tomato sauce was clearly not the fresh ones, but from the can.I will not go again, but it was not bad experience.

We went to this restaurant because of recommendations in Tripadvisor. Our dinner turn out to be rather disappointing. The service was absolutely the worst part. Waiters were increribly arrogant for us with no clear reason. After taking our orders we didn't hear any word from the waiters. They didn't even tell us that we should pay our check to the counter. The taste of pizzas was average so this was a place not worth to visit.

Walking round Bolzano early on a Sunday evening, was very quiet. Tried a couple of restaurant that we looked up on TA, but were either shut or full. Then near the bottom of the town we came across Toscano Doc. We were welcomed in and had a really nice meal with a very reasonable house wine. Good value. Would certainly go there again.

Great experience.Food is just excellent, wine list is way beyond your imagination.Price is incredibly fair.I donât see how someone can complain because doesnât receive chips at 20:30 when you suppose to have dinner.Unfortunately we are surrounded by customers that should go to Macdonald and leave gastronomy to someone else. When you work in the business you can spot idiot customers from a review. If you want to have a great experience in Bolzano and really enjoy your time with an extensive and extraordinary wine list, this is definitely the place to be.The staff is super professional, knowledgeable, very kind and all of them knows what to do.If you miss this restaurant you really miss something.Thank you very much for the amazing dinner.

We booked for the Christmas Eve dinner, a set menu, and were asked to arrive at 7pm. The first course didnât arrive until 8.10, then two more courses in quick succession, then a half hour wait, then another course hot on its heels. Currently debating whether to stay for the final two courses. People all around us are looking pissed off, as are we. Itâs a disgrace.Dear Travellingpantaloni,Thank you very much for your feedback. It is very important to us to know our guests opinion in order to improve our services. We regret that you didnât like the dinner. Probably there was a misunderstanding about the starting time of the dinner. We arranged the aperitif in our foyer on the 1st floor at 7pm as a get together, in order to serve all the guests at the same time during dinner. The dinner should have started at 7.45 pm, unfortunately not all guests were on time, that is why the start was delayed.I want to apologize in name of the entire team for the inconvenient situation and hope you will give us a second chance in order to convince you about the beauty of Parkhotel Laurin and the lovely attentions we all have for our guests. All the best,Martina BoscheriPR & Marketing
