This is primarily a fish restaurant so can be enjoyed as such - portions were generous and fish looked very fresh.I'm vegetarian but found a creamy pasta dish which was pleasant enough. Service was very good. Attentive and helpful. You could tell this was a local favourite and the place looked like it was run like a family dining room. Lots of groups enjoying lots of food.If you love fish you should definitely visit.. a taste of local dishes alway from the main area. Note this restaurant is situated on top of a hill, so although you can get there by foot from the coast, it is a walk up quite a few steps with little to look at! A taxi is strongly recommended

I come years from many years, and it is always recommended. nice landscape over Bogliasco and on the sea. interesting fish appetizers, first dishes as taglierini with lobster the portion for 2 is very plentiful, vert tasty, pansoti, pesto, therefore seafood grill, seabass, mussels, everything very fresh and in large portion. Normal selection of wines, good dessert including sicilian ones. the service is kind. The price is correct.

Tried this restaurant with my girlfriend on August 2016, the food was great! High quality products very well prepared. Service is friendly, good ambiance and very nice spot!

Not a fancy place (go to the nearby Hotel Pagoda's restaurant for higher class dining). It's definitely a romantic place, if you appreciate simplicity.PROs: location (a spectacular, tiny, unglamorous, really charming, tiny harbor): kind service, food (spectacular Trofie al Pesto, Spectacular Tiramisu', so-so fried fish), value, overall out of time experience.CONs: can't really think of any, once it's clear that this is a basic place.

We had a leisurely Italian lunch on our first visit to this restaurant in this beautiful setting with an amazing view on the Passeggiata Anita Garibaldi in Nervi. The staff were very welcoming and the service was excellent. The seafood is impeccably fresh and delicious. Don't miss the seafood risotto and the fresh anchovies in agrodolce. We enjoyed the experience so much that we returned one evening during our stay. On that visit we had some appetizers and pizza. Everything was delicious. Bagni Medusa is definitely on our list of favorite restaurants in Italy.

Il bistrotto recently changed owner. Unfortunately we can't say the same about their kitchen that is, at its best, on the average.Nothing really good, nothing really bad.Very pretty location while the service is amateurish: the waiter/waitress are nice and polite, would be great if they knew a bit more what they are serving, in terms of food, and, definitevely, wine. The dishes are of some originality but not always that palatable: the chef is trying too hard for his set of skills.Camp and pricey, you are better off drinking an appetizer here (a bunch of people in summer time and cocktails are decent) and then go eat elsewhere.

Have been goign to Il TIpico for 13 years. It was our favorite restaurrant in the entire world until it was sold a couple of years ago. Although we have no complains after our last visit in December 2011, the food is no longer tops and there is somethign missing now. But we still recommend it. Good risotto frutto di mare.

Ristorante di pesce e di carne, cucina italiana rivisitata. Spazio esterno disponibile. Ristorante adatto per cene romantiche ma anche per pranzi e cene aziendali o di famiglia.
At our first day at Bogliasco we visited Il Melograno. This restaurant is run by two older gentlemen with years of hospitality in their veins. Unfortunately they do not speak English, but nevertheless we had a marvelous diner. La Dolce was very good with a variety of sweet treats a la casa. We will come back!

The restaurant itself is beautiful! The waitress was so tentative and polite, checking if we wanted more light, which we didnât. We liked the atmosphere at is was. She was great! The food however... we ordered batuta di tonno as we seen a picture they posted of it on Facebook a few days earlier. What came out on the plate was nothing like the photo nor was there even a third of the tuna on the plate. The focaccini were great! Really salty! Highly recommend! The pasta with salsa di mare was ok. The gamberi fritto were beautifully soft and tasty. And the desserts were barely average ! Slightly disappointed at the food as it looked much more presentable on Facebook! Some dishes were really great some really not. Think the place could have great potential but as itâs only opened a month there are some issues still!

We enjoyed wine, and bountiful plate of prosciutto and melone and a good pizza, sharing both. Lovely setting on Corso Italia enjoying the sea air and view.
