Continuing our Summer weekly âfeeding frenzyâ 221 Main was chosen as a short drive along the Lake Michigan Coast from South Haven. Located in the middle of downtown St.Joseph, we conveniently parked in front and then started one of best dining experiences yet. After selecting from an extensive Bourbon and Scotch menu we ordered the following: a ribeye, the salmon piccata, Lake whitefish and the New York strip. All agreed that it was the best meal weâve experienced, properly prepared and expertly served. Special THANKS to the server (Jennifer) and the chef (Brandon) for a memorable meal (see picture). 221 Main is worth a return visit !!!

In the summer, this place is a great tourist attraction with a deck overlooking the lake but in the winter, we enjoy it even more. Inside is nicely decorated and dimly lit with a fireplace. Food is always excellent and if you get a fireside table, it's a bonus!They have the best burgers and fries with specials on weeknights. Excellent service also.

Some tapas are worth every penny. Others are not. They need to be consistent. Beautiful area outdoors. Good service. Best tapa we had was the open faced shrimp tamale. Not busy at all which surprised me.

Hubby and I went in for lunch. We were going to eat an early dinner so we thought we would share. Shared a crab sandwich and Belgian fries. We were very satisfied. Really great quality. The fries were to die for. Wonderful addition to Benton Harbor. Friendly. Clean. Tables, indoor seating.
