Their hamburgers are tasty, fries OK, long time local favorite. Very disappointed in their fried oyster plate. Oysters where no meaty and batter soggy, I like mine crisp. Nice family and staff, but doubt I will go out of my way to go there again.

We had been to Floyd's in April right after it reopened from the hurricane. It was enjoyable, but not outstanding. Then we went again a couple of weeks ago. Before we went this time, we looked at the menu online and some reviews of particular dishes. Someone raved about an appetizer - Shrimp Napoleon. My wife decided to have it as a main course since neither she nor I are heavy eaters. She couldn't eat it all because the dish was so large, so she enjoyed it again a day or so later. I tried a little to see if it interested me, and it was delicious! Next time that will be MY choice. We don't usually eat appetizers for a main course, but this one was a winner.By the way, I had a Reuben with fries. The Reuben was OK - not the absolute best that I have ever had, but OK. However, the fries were to write home about. Crispy and delicious.

Had a great meal, bad news first, $95 for one beer, one wine, two entrees, no apps. or dessert. Good news, great filet and shrimp , good service, easy parking,etc.. Wonderful addition for Beaufort, even though there are at least 10 other fine places to eat. Do go, right on the creek, beautiful surroundings etc.. Bob Ross

Had dinner there last night. Were celebrating my birthday. Our first visit. Parking tip: There is limited parking behind the Inn in which La Perla is located. Was easier to find a spot there than on the street. We enjoyed every morsel of our meal. This is not a casual burger and pizza place. Service was attentive except that server several times reached across me to serve my husband, saying "Excuse my reach." There was plenty of space around the table to serve him without passing plates in front of me. We will definitely be there again for the food is a fresh twist on familiar menu items. Hi, We are so glad that you found us and chose us to celebrate your birthday. We really hope that you will return to dine with us - the server that you had on this trip is no longer with us. thanks again!

Located across the street from the Maritime Museum on the Historic Beaufort Waterfront. We offer floating dock access - come by land or sea! Reservations are recommended for large parties, generally 12 or more people.
Went for lunch. Nice spot overlooking water. We both ordered the crab cake sandwich. Spouse had eaten the crab sliders before so we were really looking forward to our meal. The fries were hot and crispy. The crab sandwich was boring. It tasted like a crab cake with no crab meat. I am not sure it even had crab meat in it. Maybe just egg and bread crumbs. Really bad tasting. The best part of the meal was the Pain Killer drink. This was the best one on the Beaufort waterfront. We like to eat at Finz but will never order the crab again.

We stopped in on a Tuesday and received a friendly greeting and were immediately seated. Great decor and a step back in time. My wife had the shrimp burger which was full of lightly breaded and fried shrimp that were tasty, tender, and sweet. The coleslaw was very good. I had the fish and chips and there were 3 pieces of lightly fried and tasty flounder with fresh and hot fries. We split a brownie sundae and it was excellent. Friendly and engaged service and a great experience.

I have been going to Beaufort regularly for 15 years now and of all the good, decent, and not so much, restaurants in this lovely town, I always enjoy Stillwater. The food is consistently top-notch, the wine list is impressive, the service is great and the rum bar in the back always has an excellent bartender for a serious cocktail. Make time for lunch or dinner!
