My family visited this restaurant during a trip to Bayfield in August 2019. Two of us enjoyed the fish & homemade chips, and the other two could not stop raving about the grilled romaine & shrimp salad. Yummy ice cream for dessert. Great service too

My wife and I came here on a Wednesday evening in October. We had read good reviews and had this on our list of places to try. I had the trio of filet, scallops and shrimp with English crispy potatoes topped with Parmesan. It was excellent. The shrimp were massive and almost tasted like lobster. The scallops were cooked perfectly as was the steak. The steak could have used a little less pepper but was otherwise great. My wife had the curry trout which she thought was great. We also very much enjoyed our salad with the homemade dressing that came before the entrees. For dessert, I had the bone marrow with crostini, blue cheese and pepper jam since I regretted not having it as my starter. It was amazing. The marrow portion was very generous and while I donât enjoy blue cheese, the pepper jam was outstanding. This is the exact type of restaurant we look for when we are traveling to quaint places like Bayfield.

We found this place by chance. The hostess seemed to be confused about where to seat us. But not to worry. From then on it was great. Our waitress Dianne was quite the comedian. She was really the best waitress weâve had in a long time. She was very knowledge about the meals and made great recommendations based on my food allergies. I had the walleye. My wife had chicken Marsala. It was very good. We will be back! The scallops were fantastic!
