Reviews on Seafood food in Ballyferriter, Province of Munster, Ireland. Ballyferriter (Irish: Baile an Fheirtéaraigh, meaning "Ferriter's townland", Irish pronunciation: [ˈbˠalʲənʲ ɛɾˠˈtʲeːɾˠiɡʲ] or An B[h]uailtín),), is a Gaeltacht village in County Kerry, Ireland. It is in the west of the Corca Dhuibhne (Dingle) peninsula and according to the 2002 census, about 75% of the town's population speak the Irish language on a daily basis. The village is named after the Norman-Irish Feiritéar family who settled in Ard na Caithne in the late medieval period and of whom the seventeenth-century poet and executed leader, Piaras Feiritéar, was a member. The older Irish name for the village An B[h]uailtín ("the little dairy place") is still used locally.

We went for an early dinner and got an excellent tasting culinary meal. The room got busy and with only two servers they were run off their feet. After our mains we were asked about dessert which we promptly said yes. It took 30 minutes to get the menu another 20 for dessert. It was the first time in a long time we felt invisible. It took another 20 minutes for the bill after asking. It wasnât the servers fault, they understaffed. The food was excellent but our overall evening was spoiled by the experience. We are being generous with our rating but food was really good and the kitchen should not be blamed either. I hope they correct this for the future.

We have been traveling in Ireland for a week now, and we continue to be pleasantly surprised and delighted by the wonderful dining experiences we have enjoyed. The Chart House was another great dining experience; one of the best! I had the pork belly and my wife had the chicken. We each had cauliflower and blue cheese soup. We both really enjoyed our dishes. They have a terrific selection of wines and we were able to get our favourite Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. The service excellent! The Chart House is very deserving of its high Trip Advisor rating.

Local cuisine, influenced by the finesse of European cookery but rooted in Irish traditions, our take on food is based in the belief that everyone should be afforded the opportunity to experience foods grown, raised, caught, and foraged by their neighbour
After days of eating deep fried fish in pubs, it was a pleasure to have a high quality fresh monk fish dinner. Everything from the wine to the appetizer to the main dish to the dessert equaled or surpassed seafood restaurants in major cities. Recommend the early bird dinner for a cost effective meal

An old style pub located on Dingle marina. Two bars overlooking Dingle harbor with fantastic views serving great local gourmet food. Breakfast is served each morning from 9-11:45 followed by lunch and dinner until 9pm Pizzas are served until 11pm All food
We were hungry around 9:30 pm, and most places donât serve food that late. We were very happy to be able to order nosh. The 9â arugula (rocket), chicken, pesto pizza was not only appreciated, but it was DELICIOUS too! Perfect size for two people in need of a late-evening snack. The harbor-front location is nice, too.

I was not sure if the hype was correct. Glad to say we tried several things on the menu and all were exceptional. Best we had traveling all around Ireland. The batter is a wonderful peppery blend like I have never tasted anywhere Donât miss this gem. Yes you might have to wait for a table, have a good pint while you wait, it will be well worth the wait! Well done Miguel!

I canât recommend this bar restaurant despite the lovely location and the reasonable prices for coffee and cake. The staff were unbelievably rude and ignored us at the bar, gave monosyllabic grunts in reply to enquiries and one member of staff actually kept walking away as I was speaking to him. I wonât be visiting again!

This is a great pub and restaurant. It's in an attractive location with ample parking. It is lovely inside with a warm welcome. Specialising in seafood the menu was varied and the dishes thoroughly enjoyed by all. The service was excellent and friendly which is a real selling point. Definitely worth eating here.

The original and first micro brewery in Kerry at this well known country pub Tig Bhric. Producing in excess of 7 beers brewed and packaged on site. Available throughout the Dingle Peninsula and through independent houses nationwide. Both on and off sales.
This place has awesome local brews and delicious food. If you are driving the dingle peninsula from anti-clockwise direction (best way according to me) Tig Bhric comes towards the end. This is a must stop for beer lovers. We found this through the Rick Steves book - also the best way to see ireland :)
