In the English tradition, public houses are homes to which the public is invited to drink, dine and otherwise find community.
Been going here for years. Great selection of beer; and food, IMO, gets an 8.5. Staff usually efficient, some even downright personable, so I will continue to patronize. Very comfortable vibe year-round.Had some calamari the other day which was a bit over cooked and slightly dry. But maybe I'm too picky on this dish.Prices have ballooned on some dishes, but overall, still a good experience.

Doc's Marina Grill located on Bainbridge Island has a fantastic outdoor area, serving delicious seafood and American Fares.
Dined here for lunch and it's one of the best meals we had while in Seattle. Food was so fresh and service was great. It's a big restaurant that holds a lot of people but, it's a perfect atmosphere for families and casual dining. Very reasonably priced. Great food and service!

A spot for gathering with family and friends, this historic home, perched overlooking Pleasant Beach, has been transformed into Bainbridge Island's favorite new restaurant. Our service team is committed to providing an unmatched dining experience, with de
Let me start off by saying that from previous ratings, I expected a much better experience. The oysters and the ceasar salad were really nice. Our two entrees were awful. My wife's scallops were like they were dredged in salt before slapped on some grool that we could not figure out, whether they were cleaning out the pantry, or this was the first stage of a retirement home. It was a brownish-green with no flavor. It was underneath my salmon as well. My salmon was (I guess) supposed to be seared, but it was absolutely burnt on one side and raw on the other.

This is a relatively new spot on Bainbridge Island, a bit of a drive away in the very quaint, but trendy, Lynwood Center area. We were looking forward to adding a new restaurant to our repertoire of favorite spots, but this place didn't make the grade. It's clean and attractive, with really pleasant staff. However, you walk up to the counter to order food from a rather complex menu, (we felt rushed to make a choice because there were several people in line behind us), pay, take your seat, and the food is delivered to your table. There's not a lot of seating space, even with large "shared" tables, and we had a table next to- and in full view of- the restrooms. We ordered fish tacos, and were so disappointed in presentation, flavor, and portion size. One busser was working the whole area, and she didn't check on us until we were preparing to leave. We told her the food was painfully salty, and we didn't find her comment, "I'll let them know" to be satisfactory. We regretted the 20% tip we gave the girl at the counter who took our order, and we will not be back.
