Avons testé ce restaurant vendredi soir. Avons apprécié le décor et lâambiance, pas bruyant du tout, le personnel très gentil, souriant et serviable.Les plats étaient très goûteux avec de bons produits frais et locaux sans oublié une présentation digne dâun gastro, juste un petit bémol, les frites sont arrivées froides. A buffet restaurant. Firstly the positives.... Starters alone are worth the 18 euros. Eat as much as you want Half a crab, langoustines, razor clams, whelks, crevettes and loads of salads. You have some tired looking cheese for a 3rd course and then a choice of deserts including a large choice of ice creams. Secondly the negatives.... huge choice of different steaks. I have tried them all at different times and none are any good, if you judge a steak on its eatability. I have had them rare, medium, and well done to see if my teeth could experience less wear and tear. But sadly, they may taste like a steak, but none, no matter how they are cooked are edible. They have a tired very small choice of fish as well. Havenât tried this so canât comment. The other problem is that on a busy evening there are loads of children running around out of control. Its difficult because, this is a self service restaurant with adults moving around with hot food. Highly dangerous. In summary I will still go back as the starters are great. Wine is reasonable and okay.

Varied menu, changes on a daily basis, the Patron cooks to order over the open fire in the bar.The bar is friendly, the patron & his daughter served us and were welcoming and friendly, they speak a little English enough to order.Merci de votre passage au relais vainquais sachant que vous êtes venus 2 jours consécutifs et que vous avez appréciés la qualité des repas et l'ambiance du relais vainquais.Thierry

We were a bit worried when we went in as it was midday and only 2 other people were there to eat. No other people came in while we were there . We were going to another Restaurant nearby but it was closed for holidays .The Gentleman who served us was very polite and I ordered fish for my husband and pork for me . When it arrived I noticed the jacket-potato had obviously been cooked previously and covered with a cream with chives . There were also other vegetables which had been diced and also cooked in advance . Everything was cold except the meat which was warm . My husbands fish was warm but not hot although I fail to see why as we didn't have a starter . He said he was very disappointed that such a nice looking place which wasn't cheap could have such poor food . I said to the waiter that it wasn't a nice meal and it was cold . I didn't eat any of the vegetables so for my money all I had was 2 pieces of fatty belly pork. I also told the Lady at reception that I wasn't happy but I paid anyway as I didn't want to cause a fuss as my husband is ill .
