We had a great dinner at the bar. Great service and plenty of room. We had a couple of local craft beers (they also had a nice wine selection): started with calamari appetizer and continued with a Tuna BLT and a lobster roll. Great atmosphere

I don't think it's too much to ask that a seven dollar crab have two claws. At the very least, the fishmonger should sell a single claw crab at a reduced 'cull' rate.

Cambridgeâs premier Seafood Restaurant featuring the largest raw bar in town⦠Summer Shack was opened in May 2000 by chef Jasper White on the outskirts of Cambridge in a spot once was occupied by the infamous Polynesian Restaurant, Aku Aku. It was a shock
We went to Summer Shack two nights running in July 2019 because we were staying round the corner and didn't want to drive in the evening. It's a pretty unappetising location - a dull brick building on the edge of a busy road junction - and the interior is loud and was rather hot in the summer. We had lobster rolls on the first trip, which were OK, but very expensive and a long way off the standard of some of the ones I've had round Boston in the past. On the second night we had the crab which was somewhat more dramatic, and actually quite good. Service was friendly but a little overstretched at peak hours. This is a restaurant I'd eat at again if I were staying in the same hotel, but I wouldn't drive here if I had other options.Thank you for the feedback, we really appreciate it. We hope to have you back again.

Out of the Blue has been a fixture in Somerville for years, and it has maintained a loyal clientele thanks to the consistently good seafood, low-key unpretentious setting, and professional service. The menu is fairly traditional with grilled and fried options, as well as a number of Italian seafood-pasta dishes. In our most recent visit, we opted for grilled scallops and grilled swordfish. Both were served without elaborate sauces, just grilled to perfection, tender and medium-rare, as we had asked. We requested no salt, and we asked for olive oil instead of butter, and the staff were happy to oblige (a real plus, as we find many restaurants are not able to accommodate these requests). The wine list is unremarkable, and it is not uncommon for the restaurant to run out of bread (which seems odd but isn't a major drawback). The restaurant has a small bar, and the atmosphere is casual, inviting, and lively (but not too noisy). A great choice for seafood fans in the hip Davis Square neighborhood.

The Red House specializes in locally-sourced, European & Mediterranean inspired cuisine. Our seasonally changing menus features a variety seafood, poultry, and pasta dishes, many of which are prepared with greens and vegetables from our organic farm in Wi
We really enjoyed The Red House. We ordered oysters which were $1 each. This seems to be a great price as most places they were $3 each. They were very good oysters and we really enjoyed them. We also had the Vermont goat cheese and honey. It was amazing. The goat cheese was so soft and creamy and was paired so well with roasted almonds and honey. The marinated olives were also great. I highly recommend this place!
