This seafood restaurant is Asian inspired which provides a nice blend of flavor for the seafood. The atmosphere is comfortable and you should feel comfortable to enjoy a bottle of wine while enjoying a slower pace meal. Our waiter (Cole) seemed to know the menu and even though they were out of a few things, he was able to guide us to some enjoyable selections.

. Located in the new âThe Blockâ an Asian Food Court, Pokeworks is a Hawaiian style restaurant that specializes in sustainable, seasonal, and natural ingredients along with fresh seafood. You start with a base â bowl, salad or burrito and build from there. I had the bowl with brown rice, ahi tuna and shrimp. From there you add any number of mix-ins â cilantro, jalapeno, edamame, seaweed, onions, and then a sauce (I chose spicy) and then toppings for added flavor and texture. Mix and match to whatever you like or want to try. I had to get help from the folks behind the counter to guide me through the vast number of selections. They did so with knowledge and a smile. Overall, this is a healthy alternative to all fast food, it is reasonably priced, it tastes nothing less than phenomenal. The Block can be loud and the lines at Pokeworks can be long, so go early if those things bother you.

Soju Sarang is one of my favorite non-BBQ Korean restaurants. Although small (and sometimes there's a wait), the waitresses are attentive and friendly and bring lots and lots of yummy banchan including some heartier and pretty unique ones. The banchan always sets the tone for a delicious meal. The special $40 sushi platter is quite a deal, with lots of sushi and sashimi. Once we asked to substitute one of the fish for flounder and they happily accommodated. The platter is a great deal in itself but also comes with a delicious and spicy fish bone soup. We've also had other entrees, all of which are good. I like this place because they have typical Korean dishes and sushi.

My daughter and I came for lunch. Parking available in the back. She had the grilled shrimp wrap and I had the fried oyster po-boy. We both had onion rings. All very good. Key lime pie for dessert was delicious and the right size. Will try again with my wife.

walking by it looked good, but I found the menu lacking.--once seated. The shrimp fried rice was good--the seafood pancake--ok.It was hard to get good description of what many of the other seafood dishes were. Maybe it was my unfamiliarity, but the menu could have provided better descriptions.Communication with the waitress was challenging.
