The only place we could find in Wimereux that would let us buy a coffee without having a sit-down meal with it. Also one of the few places that helped us with our attempts at French rather than stuffily switching to English. So a rare find! Good strong coffee with fast, straightforward service.

Excellent ambiance combined with friendly, helpful service without being effusive. . Menu probably suits fish lovers although others are well catered for. The coquilles st Jacques was outstanding and the Turbot absolutely wonderful. Could not fault the restaurant and will definitely return

We had the 20 euro lunch menu and weren't disappointed, in particular, the house wine - this month a Bordeaux, was particularly good value. They were attentive to what the coeliac in our party could eat and the waitress who served us was particularly welcoming, friendly and good humoured. There is a good atmosphere in the restaurant and parking (off season admittedly) was easy. It is a restaurant we are likely to return to - the food is unpretentious, tasty and their chips were some of the best we have ever eaten! The skate was outstanding and a generous portion.

The Hotel De la Plage has 10 rooms including 6 sea side (Television - wifi - Direct Telephone in all rooms). Our companion pet friends are not allowed in the Hotel. The restaurant has 45 seats. The Chef invites you to discover the marine flavors of the Cô
We ate from the 19 euro menu. Total bill with wine and aperitif was 56 euro. All of the food was superb with friendly attentive service. Lovely view out to sea and the whole restaurant was immaculately clean. Will definitely return when in the area.

My wife and I ate there on Saturday evening. As with all restaurants in Wimereux, you need to book. The set menu was good but a little short so I added oysters, which were huge, and the lobster risotto with squid ink. This was very good.My wife had scorpion fish. The brasserie menu is still cooked in a Michelin starred kitchen. The only negative was that we ordered a carafe of wine and they brought out an empty carafe and proceeded to decant from a 1.5l bottle at the table.Maybe we were âwine shamedâ for not ordering a bottle. The food and service were very good but the portions not that large.Great for â¬100 though in the seafront.

We stumbled across this restaurant while looking for some food as the restaurant we were planning to go to only opened at 19:00. Here one could eat earlier and we got a warm welcome (honest, not artificial welcome). We selected typical starters and mains and we were pleasantly surprised as to the value for money. Especially the Marmite menu was very good. As starter a fish soup and as main a seafood marmite. Full of mussels and fish in a light creamy sauce. Hmmm. Would eat it any day.Highly recommended

Located on the seafront promenade in Wimereux, on the north eastern coast of France, La Ligeoise is renowned for its excellent seafood menu and ocean views. Wimereux is situated between Boulognet and the Cte dOpale, and La Ligeoise is tucked away
La Liégeoise definitely is a top restaurant (certainly the best in Wimereux) but in my view, it doesnât fully deserve a Michelin star. While everything was technically very good, especially the lobster dish and all desserts, some combinations were not a full success (e.g. the tomato concassé overpowering the sweetbread). Service could have been more attentive, too.

This is not the best restaurant on this pretty coastal village but it serves a very good value for money fresh seafood (good seafood platter) in a nice location. The service is in general terrible, fairly rude and uninterested. The kind of place that believe you are making them a favour eating in their restaurant

We visited as a couple with 2 small children. It was very busy but we were greeted very welcome by a nice lady at the bar. The waiter was friendly, im sure it wasnât his fault, but the food took forever to arrive. I can understand that it was very busy, but wat I canât understand is that other people who arrived 45minutes after us got their meal first?? When we complained to the waiter a few times we finally got our meal, but the moules were the most tiny ever and not fully cooked! The croquette crevetes were also still partially cold and tasted very badly. Im sorry to write this bad review but it was just really a terrible experience. I hope that we were just unlucky with the kitchens performance as the staff deserves better in my opinion...Dear Arvid V,You are correct and I do apologize again for troubles. You have suffer for couple of unusual mistakes from us. When you complained to the waiter, we wanted to fix our mistake by going as quick as possible to cook your order. That leds to the unexpected quality of the food you have been served.I wish you could come an other day and taste our conventional food level.regardsChristophe Meunier
