Attended in the evening and ordered a sushi platter which was presented beautifully! The waitress was very knowledgable with regards to the menu and the ingredients and was helpful when asked about whether we had ordered too much! Really enjoyed the meal and would visit again

The Con Club is an independent restaurant, bar and microbrewery on the site of the former Altrincham Working Men's Conservative club. Dishes include freshly prepared sushi, ceviche and oysters, top quality cuts of meat cooked to order on a charcoal grill,
We've been twice to this restaurant, nice atmosphere, friendly staff, good service, but bit noisy, specially when they have a band on,overpriced food, ordered Tuna steak £18, served cold, with boiled potatoes, crunchy green beans, absolutely rubbish, maybe nice to go for a drink when the live music is on, but if you are fussy about your food its not 4 you, I know some people would say, why didn't we complained but I never feel comfortable about sending food back for obvious reasons.

Was out for a walk around an area that I didnât know. It was cold and windy and myself , my wife and our dog were feeling hungry but we didnât know where we could take the dog in with us to eat . The Altrincham Fish bar was close to our parked car so while my wife and dog hurried to the car I went inside the chippy to order some food. I was surprised to find a proper eating area at the rear of the property Anyway I ordered some fish pieces and chips to take back to the car . I had to wait a short while as they did the necessary frying while I waited . At least I knew everything was freshly cooked. They wrapped them up well , together with paper towels and two forks. The fish pieces were excellent, cooked to perfection and a lovely white colour . The chips were also very good. I would certainly recommend that you give them a try.
