Good atmosphere, busy restaurant with decent seafood. Not the best around, not consistent. We had two different prawn platters, the first was extremely salty. This was cooked naturally still in the shell and without any sauce. The second prawn dish consisted of peeled prawns sautéed in a sauce and this was much better, not overly seasoned. Our fish platter had a nice charred flavour but had a lot of bones in it so had to take it slow and be careful when eating this.

This small restaurant delivers very good food, an much better than normal wine list, and excellent service. Our favorite dishes were the rack of lamb and the octopus. Be forewarned that the octopus entree is huge & perhaps best split. The mushroom appetizer and the pepper & cod appetizer were both very good. This is one of the Lisbon restaurants that I would highly recommend.

Delightfull, savoring proposals of fish, meat and vegetarian dishes in a welcoming, peaceful atmosphere.
reservation needed - it is a great small restaurant. the door is closed and we ring the doorbell to get in with our reservation. The menu is not big, but every dish is delicious with beautiful presentation. We love the octopus so much that we ordered the 2nd plate and shared, so 4 of us have 5 main dishes. the deserts are so tasty also. Strongly recommend! it is not crazy expensive. the price is very reasonable for the quality.

Myself and two mid-twenties friends visited, asked for a table and were told 45mins wait while older couples (who they perceived would spend more money) were seated immediately. Servers were arrogant, ask for a bottle of wine and they just tell you to wait.I’m sure if we visited with parents we would get better service but it left a really sour taste and wouldn’t recommend anyone to visit. Great food should also come with good service, don’t be so arrogant in your meals that the service is rude

Very nice place, with a good atmosphere and very nice fresh fish. Excellent variety of choice in the dishes of the day, very well made and in generous portions.

I learned about this restaurant by reading on the internet, and staying in Lisbon for a few days we wanted to go. Reservation is recommended but we just tried. Luckily, there was a table for us. The view is amazing, sitting near a little beach of the river Tagus, and the food, drinks (good cocktails!) quite good. Really worth the trip by the ferry to Cacilhas, and than a 20 minutes walk to the restaurant. Just keep the water to your right and you will be surprised to find this spot.

invicta madragoa is a new typical portuguese restaurante that offers na all new concept related with the country flavours. The walls made in stone leads our thoughts to the most wonderfull and old places in Portugal. the restaurant`s atmosphere combined w
What an amazing seafood restaurant!! We lucked out once again and scored a table for two as a walk-in just before 7pm. Two minutes later and we would have been out of luck til the second seating at ~9pm! We ordered the goat cheese with fig appetizer and had the seafood stew for 2. This was based on one of the previous reviews. Loved both choices! The seafood was so delicious, fresh and perfectly cooked. The tiger shrimps were succulent, the oysters were big and fresh, and the fish melted in your mouth. If I could drink the broth, I would! We were in Lisbon for 4 nights; out of the 4 dinners, this was our favourite!! Highly recommend this restaurant and make you have a reservation if you arrive close to 7pm!

Take the boat from Belém to Trafaria and have a meal at Casa Ideal. You will love to cross the river but on top, you can have a very tasty meal. Try the fish... we got "Polvo à Lagareiro" (grilled octopus with potatoes covered with Olive oil) and it was very very good and grilled Cuttlefish, very Soft and grilled properly. Great cold beer, tasty and homemade deserts. Honest people and mainly, honest food. Kind Service. Fair price for the quality we got. 38€ 2 pax. Recommended!!!
